Amazing break away from London city life. Amazing host and the property is flawless. Highly recommend getting a supermarket delivery to the property.

A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

We had the most amazing stay in Wendy’s home. We arrived and were blown away by the surroundings, the garden photos do not to it justice, it is huge and absolutely beautiful. The garden backs onto a field with sheep and little baby lambs which melted us immediately, there are wild horses that walk past the gate and as animal lovers this topped our whole stay! This was a surprise for my sister and it’s safe to say she was blown away! The house was spotless, and beautifully decorated. The outside space to socialise and eat together was amazing, the area is so peaceful! The cabin blew us away! When you live in a city you don’t get to appreciate wildlife like you do in Wendy’s home. From all of us, thank you so much Wendy for such an amazing stay and for making this weekend one that my sister will never forget. We hope to visit again next year!xx

Fantastic accommodation for families. A great surprise with the additional 2 toilets as well as the. Bathroom, which was great for the 6 of us. Easy check in, great instructions sent in advance for checking in and checking out. Very friendly host. Accommodation is spacious, all rooms good sizes. Lovely comfortable beds and bedding was excellent quality. Kitchen very well equipped with all you need, which was great. So we could easily cook if we wanted to. Location is great, parking space very handy and easy to find parking spaces nearby for any additional cars. Peaceful location. All the sofas were very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone to sit. Would definitely book again if looking in Kingsbridge for family size accommodation.

We were made to feel so welcome straight away. We would highly recommend Lance's Airbnb to everyone. Nothing was too much trouble to ask and we found the location and cottage to be a wonderful break.

This place was perfect, we stayed here in May 2025 for 3 nights before our wedding with our 4 year old and 2 year old and our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer! Pollyanna offered us an early check in as soon as it was ready and greeted us upon arrival. She sent lots of recommendations when we booked which was very helpful too. It’s completely private, perfect location, situated on a farm in the country side, lots of wildlife to look out for whilst relaxing in the garden having a bbq or using the hot tub. It’s safe and secure for young children to play and there is a beautiful private lake just through the gate with a boat, paddle boards and a summer house with a ping pong table. It’s very nicely furnished inside, well equipped, easy parking, bathrooms and showers are great and we found the beds very comfortable. It was a pleasure to meet both Ian and Pollyanna who wished us well on our wedding day. We hope to come back again someday soon!

We booked this as a special family trip as my sister and her children were visiting from New Zealand, we wanted somewhere memorable and a bit different, Emillies place was certainly that! the photos really don't don't justice, it's a spectacular space and set in beautiful surroundings. The home was well equipped and we all agreed the beds were really comfortable- like being in a boutique hotel! and 3 bathrooms for 5 guests was amazing luxury! We had a little problem while there and Emillie sent someone round immediately to fix it! We were lucky with the weather and ale to explore the grounds and nearby Lyme, but we would have been equally happy being 'rained in' at the home!! We couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a 'something special' staycation. thanks Emillie.

fantastic location, excellent facilities, works very well for a large family,very well equipped, amazing views and well laid out property.our own back access to the quay was fab for swimming.amazing views from the window seat were fought for by our guests!! we will be coming back...

A great few days in an amazing setting … close to Slapton, torcross , Dartmouth and kingsbridge..the flat was clean and airy and was lefty of o site parking, tranquil gardens . Although not a cottage the accommodation was clean airy and welcoming . The Beds were comfortable and we were able to have a relaxing time. We would recommend the accommodation and would stay thee again!

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable apartment. The bed is one of the best we've slept in. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Very close to beautiful walks and amenities. Only slight negative was the noise early in the morning when staff are preparing breakfast for the BandB guests in the main residence but we were not put off by this. We will definitely be returning.

What a lovely lovely house for a quick or long stay. Beautiful apartment decorated so nicely and extremely clean. The host was extremely helpful and very welcoming and answered the phone very quickly to any problems. Definitely recommend :)

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

Loretta’s home was stunning and very spacious. The bed was the most comfortable that we have had so far and I had a great nights sleep. Loretta had left an afternoon cream tea which was delightful and a lovely touch. The parking space is very very small, but there was plenty of parking on the road right outside. Highly recommended

Everything Cherilyn described her place to be was just right! Worked so well for us as attending a wedding at Polhawn Fort and only 10 mins drive away! Cherilyn recommended to us to book taxis way before our stay as it was half term which turned out to be absolutely the right thing to do! Would go back if ever in that area! 👍

We stayed here whilst doing a Uni visit and only wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. A perfect, relaxing setting. Particularly, sitting on the decking by the lake. We took our dog who also loved all the grassy areas. A lovely treat was watching from the window the rabbits & goats playing. Highly recommend!

A lovely week’s stay in this gorgeous cottage. Very remote- you need a car Recommend Pub up the road for fish and chips Southern Devon railway and ferry to Dartmouth Hiring a boat in Salcombe for of an hour Billy can for takeaway coffee North and South beaches

This was exactly what we were looking for. An idyllic little gem. Near to coast and places to visit, and local pubs too. the accommodation was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything you need to be self sufficient. such a lovely setting with perfect view. There were lots of ducks, geese wandering around with lovely babies in tow. The pond was lovely. We took our dog and he didn't bother with them at all. Steve and Karen made sure we were comfortable and recommended local amenities. Would recommend this accommodation as extremely comfortable and everything you could possibly need was provided (including a welcome basket of goodies). thank you 👌

What a charming and peaceful cottage - every detail was thoughtfully considered to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, and finding fresh milk in the fridge was a delight. The cottage itself is spotless and well-equipped, with cozy bedding and fluffy towels that made us feel right at home. Newly refurbished pool was great and very clean. Located in a beautiful Ruby country woodland setting, it’s the perfect retreat to truly unwind for a few days. The cottage is ideally placed, not far by car from Dartmoor National Park, you can reach most of Devon within 1 -1.5 hour, some parts of Cornwall are easily accessible. Enclosed by Dartmoor, Exmoor and the north coast of Devon and Cornwall, Ruby Country is the ideal base for a relaxing visit. There is a lot to see and do. Nick was a great host - friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

A lovely hidden gem tucked away in beautiful countryside. We went for a relaxing weekend to chill out and were not disappointed. It's often difficult to find somewhere that accepts four Dalmatians but Sally was extremely dog friendly and we felt very relaxed. The place is in a beautiful setting with attractive fishing lakes to walk around. The house had everything we needed, comfortable beds and we enjoyed the hot tub very much. Nearby Swanacott woods was a ten minute drive away and a great place for the dogs to let off steam. They needed to do this as the free range chickens did tease them a little but luckily none of them ended up in the pot!

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.
