Bungalow vacation rentals in Devon

A wonderful haven, tucked away but easy to find. The bungalow was spotless and very welcoming. Lots of little welcome gifts left, not just for us but also for our dog. Garry is a very thoughtful host, nothing is too much trouble for him and Julie, they made our stay wonderful. There is a huge amount of information in the property for the surrounding areas and Combe Martin itself is a wonderful village, with very friendly people, who made us feel right at home. We loved the place so much that we have already booked again for next year.

This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

My son stayed at the holiday place with his support staff. They said the place was very nice and there was lots to do with lovely walks, restaurant nearby, Pub with live music. I would book this place again.

Was exactly as described, a lovely bungalow, with beautiful smelling flowers on the path up to the front door. Good place if you want explore Dartmoor (and meet the ponies), and Exeter. The beach in Exmouth was lovely and was very close.

We loved our stay at this property. The view is perfect, the photos don’t quite capture how brilliant it is having such an amazing view from practically any part of the property. Everything was clean and tidy. Local restaurants within a 15 minute walk. We recommend the Thai place by the sea front. The location is great for walks on coastal paths.

kam and Ben were great hosts. Kam greeted us on arrival and went through how everything worked or where we would find things. The house was a home away from home, had everything and more. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will hopefully be back maybe in better weather!

Perfect location and incredible views from the lounge window. Amazing sunsets too! The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and settees. Outdoor space was also vast - great for outdoor dining/bbqs. Easy access to beaches - Woolacombe Bay as well as Barricane Beach for a curry! Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Welcome pack was greatly received, thank you! Great communication and very helpful! Hope to be back again!

Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. David was an absolute star, from the day we booked the stay, until we departed home. The home itself was exactly as it was described and the view was beautiful. It was comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we should need. David very kindly left a hamper in the fridge with a few bits to enjoy which was a lovely touch! David went above and beyond, particularly when he messaged us in advance, to let us know that the neighbours would be having emergency roof work done during our stay. He couldn’t have been more apologetic and took photographs, doing his best to show us where the scaffolding may obstruct our sea view (which it didn’t at all, it was still just as beautiful). David was extremely helpful and let us know that we could message him if we needed anything at all, a really lovely and approachable host and so easy to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Views and would highly recommend it. We didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be returning! Thank you so much:)

A great base for our three golfers being a v.short drive to the wonderful Saunton GC. It’s very well located on the edge of Braunton, just 5 min walk into town for plenty of bars and restaurants. The property was just as described, clean and well presented. Our host Martyn was proactive, prompt and helpful at all times.

Absolutely loved our stay. Property perfect and matched the description and pictures. We chose the property as it was close to Waterrow where I was on a course, had WiFi so my husband could work, had good off road parking, and was peaceful. Property was clean, spacious, had everything you could need. Angela was responsive to queries and an excellent host. Lovely pub two minutes walk away was the icing on the cake. We shall be back.

beautiful private place to stay with large hot tub and lovely outdoor spaces. everything was lovely and the milk,tea,coffee, prosecco and home made scones were such a welcoming gift. very responsive hosts and had no issues during our stay. wifi went down for a little but obviously not in the control of the hosts but they contacted their tech guy who sorted it very quickly. cant rate highly enough and willl definetly stay again.

Had a wonderful stay the property was exactly as described lovely spacious rooms and a beautiful garden. Everything in the house was clean and good and of a good quality lovely bedding and a comfortable bed. It was a short walk to the lovely village with everything you would need for your holiday, sauton sands beach a short drive away was wonderful and beautiful sunsets. Couldn't fault this property and definitely return and recommend.

Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

The house was very spacious and clean.Ben and Chris were very responsive. We had an awesome time. Would love to stay there again.
