The house is fully stocked with bath & beach towels plus everything you need in the kitchen. Plus...cornhole, 2 stand up paddleboards, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, a row boat and a splash pad! Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. The cottage features 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and a Murphy Bed in the living room for extra sleeping space. Please note, the dock is not available for use. Enjoy a relaxed check-out time until 11 AM.

This does mean there is some road noise.

The house is very comfortable and is ready for a relaxing stay in the woods. It's only 1 mile from South Higgins Lake State Park and Marl Lake, which are the best places around for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing. It's a 12 min drive to Roscommon and a 20 min drive to Houghten Lake, where you can find anything you need or want, including more beaches and water sports.
