I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out super easy. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Amazing apartment. It truly made our stay special. The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and we loved waking up to it every day. The place is beautifully furnished, super clean, and thoughtfully maintained. It had everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to other modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect too, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and other essentials just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was very neat and clean. It had necessary cooking elements also. The most beautiful thing was the sea view just exactly as the picture which you can enjoy just by sitting on the bed. The area had also lots of local veg non veg restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at rika's place.

The apartment of Prad is a wonderful place with the most stunning view on the lotus tower you can imagine. Additionally, the free to use roof top pool is an outstanding experience. An another good point is that a supermarket is right infront of the door. Prad was always available and a great host. Next time in Colombo, we will definitely book again. Thank you so much Prad!

I had a wonderful stay at Roshan’s place! He was incredibly helpful throughout, always providing clear instructions and making everything so easy that I never had to ask a single question. The communication was excellent, and his attention to detail really made a difference. The place itself was absolutely perfect, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I genuinely felt at home. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

Everything was great, but I have one suggestion for future bookings with Aruna. If you book the property at 35, 2nd Lane, ensure that you're checked into that exact house. Aruna has multiple properties in Colombo, but it's crucial to confirm the address shown on Airbnb matches the actual booking. Aruna is responsive and communicative, but there was a misunderstanding with our booking. We were initially taken to a different property, which was resolved after some discussion. However, we were charged for the relocation, which was inconvenient, especially with kids and being new to the city.and for also the gas cylinder we were charged separately. which was informed earlier it was inclusive with our booking

Jay's place was really great for a 1 night stay. The area was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by lush greens. It was easy to get around with a car. As a host, both Jay and Vino were very helpful and responsive even late at night. Pleasant stay overall.

Bonus points for the fast Wi-Fi, great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed, and fully equipped kitchen - it felt like a home away from home. Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

The location is ideal, with a variety of restaurants within walking distance, offering both convenience and great dining options. Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

The stay at this apartment was great all around! The location is ideal – in just 2–3 minutes' walk you can reach the beach, and in the other direction you can quickly reach the city. Restaurants, shopping and public transport are all very close. The train stops right outside the front door, and with Uber you can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes. The apartment itself is quiet, especially at night, which ensures a restful sleep. Check-in went completely smoothly, and communication with Shiffan was easy and pleasant at all times. A real highlight was the balcony – sitting there in the evening and looking out over the water was pure luxury. I highly recommend this place – we felt very comfortable and would come back any time!

Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. The location of property is absolutely amazing. Easily accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The apartment I stayed in was fully furnished with all amenities including all kitchenware, towels and toiletries. The space is cooled very well with the bedroom and living space each having its own AC unit. The caretaker greeted kindly and guided me to the room, which had it's Air Conditioning turned on before I even entered. Didn't have to walk in to a warm damp room! He even took care of my laundry. Overall my experience staying here was amazing. The hosts son who manages the property is very welcoming and communicated well throughout my stay. Definitely a hidden gem in Colombo.
