Vacation rentals with beach access in Western Province

Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

The apartment needs more attention and cleanness in general The tower is very beautiful and tidy, and the public swimming pool is very clean and there are guards on Madar for 24 hours, but the site is very far away and the neighborhood is poor and is not temple It is difficult to request Uber or Pickme. Sometimes it can take up to 20 minutes and the driver is rejected more than once

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night before our flight home, but we have very fond memories of our stay at Mahagedara! At first, we had a little trouble finding the place, but we quickly received all the necessary directions. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms (one connected to a bedroom), along with clean towels and bed linens. The view from the window was fantastic, and the balcony was very large. Additionally, there is access to a rooftop pool with a breathtaking view. We also received numerous recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-visit places. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return someday!

Spent almost a month at this Airbnb,. Amazing place, the beach is just a few meters away and my family loved it. The apartment is well maintained and easily accessible. Very safe for families to stay. We just loved every minute of our stay. The host was very accomodative and responsive. I had an issue with the ACs, was fixed in almost no time. Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful full month in the villa. Everything was perfect and the surrounding nature absolutely breathtaking. I really appreciated the new equipment, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker, washing machine. Uncle Sirisena was always there to make sure everything was okay for us and was adorable. An exceptional man. The pool was maintained daily. I am immensely grateful for this rich immersive experience in the middle of nature. We were able to observe many beautiful birds, monkeys, butterflies... It was perfect and we left with tears in our eyes. The only negative aspect, if I had to mention one, is the second morning at 8 a.m., a call from Annalene (wife of one of the owners) who wanted to get extra money from us because my mother and I didn't occupy the same room, I paid for the entire place at the time of my booking.

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Great Stay for a Quiet Getaway! I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The place was nice, clean, and well-maintained, offering a quiet and calm atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. While the location is a bit far from the beach and more on the inland side, it’s ideal for backpackers or those looking for a peaceful retreat. A nice bonus was the included breakfast, which was much appreciated. The host was friendly, supportive, and made sure everything was comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d recommend it to travelers who don’t mind being a little further from the shore.

My girlfriend and me spent lovely 2 weeks in this house. The house itself is really great, with fantastic design, high ceilings with fans in all rooms, exactly as in the pictures. The beach is few minutes walk from the house. Christina helped organize the airport transfer as well, we were welcomed by Shani, Christina's brother, which lives in the house next door. Shani gave us really helpful advices regarding where to go, where to eat, etc. His wife even prepared traditional lunch for us one day. The village and location is perfect to really feel authentic local experience and that's what we exactly wanted. Cheers!

We arrived in Columbo Airport just before 3am, technically the day after our booking started. The host had been great in the lead-up, checking in regularly and reassuring us everything was sorted, and he even came to the airport to pick us up himself. The drive was relatively short but lively. Even at that hour, the streets were buzzing with people, bikes, tuk-tuks, and market stalls. It was a bit of an eye opener after a long flight. As we turned down dark, bumpy backroads, we were a little unsure, especially with a young child. Once we passed through the iron gate and saw the garden and pool, we still wasnt sold, but as soon as the front door opened, we relaxed. The house was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. I woke early and opened the curtains to palm trees and the pool, a total contrast to the hustle outside. The host came by in the morning to clean the pool and arranged a tuk-tuk to take us shopping. Highly recommend hideaway right next to a buzzing local area.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kanishka airbnb. The location was fantastic with easy rides with PickMe. Kanishka was very responsive and easily sorted out any minor issues that came up. Would love to stay here again in the future

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. The space was spotless and well maintained, with a modern, clean aesthetic and beautiful flooring that added a cozy touch. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed. On top of that, the host (Heshan) was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. The stay at this apartment was great all around! The location is ideal – in just 2–3 minutes' walk you can reach the beach, and in the other direction you can quickly reach the city. Restaurants, shopping and public transport are all very close. The train stops right outside the front door, and with Uber you can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes. The apartment itself is quiet, especially at night, which ensures a restful sleep. Check-in went completely smoothly, and communication with Shiffan was easy and pleasant at all times. A real highlight was the balcony – sitting there in the evening and looking out over the water was pure luxury. I highly recommend this place – we felt very comfortable and would come back any time!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the flat was great - really spacious, clean and modern. The view was incredible also, and the aircon worked really well. Sathii was very quick at responding to any queries. I am already planning to revisit here when I am back in Sri Lanka. Thank you

Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.
