The former stable was converted into a charming home a good 30 years ago and renovated and newly furnished a few months ago with a lot of love for detail. Our family truly enjoyed our stay in Altdorf! It was a great place to stay to access many of the beautiful areas of Switzerland. Our living space was just as pictured in the photos with plenty of room for the three of us. The common area was spacious and had all of the amenities we were looking for including an open living space and kitchen. The bedrooms were cozy, too! We also appreciated that we had a washer and dryer which came in handy. Parking was in a safe, underground garage a short walking distance from our building. We were also surrounded by shops, restaurants and Coop supermarket which was convenient. I also have to say that our host was so kind and responsive with great communication! We felt welcomed and supported throughout our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a wonderful place to stay and experience the beautiful country of Switzerland!

The pictures dont do justice to the amazing experience you have when you enter the apartment. Great complete kitchen, multiple bathrooms and lots of service items. The view from the outside balcony and living room window looks out on the lake. Thereby does the apartment offer a underground parking spot, included with its own remote control. For anyone wondering to explore the wonderful mountains of Switzerland, this is THE apartment to do it from. Great hosts.

If you’re not driving, expect about a 20-minute walk up the steep mountain. Overall, I really loved the views and the warm welcome, which made our stay super cozy! Susanne was incredibly helpful, guiding us throughout our stay and preparing hearty meals when we stayed in.

We stayed at Sandra’s for my wife’s birthday. The location is beautiful and Sandra and her family were amazing hosts. Definitely try the breakfast, it was delicious. Everything was fresh and home made. We ended up taking a walk with their dog, Chica and it was so cute. They even gave my wife a little cake with a little candle and some flowers on her birthday. It was definitely an amazing stay
