Absolutely lovely place to stay . Andrew was the perfect host. Loved the idea of staying on farm . Quiet, peaceful Just what we were looking for . But facilities were well with in 5 mins in Consett what ever you need . We would rally recommend for the perfect stay xx

Tom and Penny's place is a little studio behind their house. It is clean and simple. The sofa bed is surprisingly comfortable and allows the small space to feel uncluttered. The studio looks onto a courtyard and into the hosts' kitchen so it isn't the most private. But the location is perfect for walking in the Arnside / Silverdale area. Local shops and cafes are excellent too – pizza from Crossfields on the promenade.

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

Paul and Barbara were superb hosts. Hingabarn was absolutely idyllic and was just what we needed to wind down and relax. Everything was spotless and of the highest quality and we simply did not want to leave. Sitting out listening to the birds and the running stream at the bottom of the private garden got us right back to nature and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We are already planning our next stay!

We had an amazing stay at howgills, beautiful location with lots of walks to do. Every detail was thought out, the app was very helpful, and an honesty shop onsite. The pods were lovely, clean and had everything you needed. The site was lovely and peaceful, dog friendly and lots for kids to do too. I would recommend to anyone and would love to stay again.

Very cosy shepherds hut with all you could need - stayed with 2 dogs so was great to have an enclosed area for them to relax in too!

This lodge is absolutely gorgeous! The garden is amazing to stare out into and to wander in! We even saw a woodpecker on the doorstep. There are some amazing things to do nearby and plenty of walks like the coastal route and criffel. We even got a fresh loaf of bread on arrival - such a lovely stay!

Beautiful location in a peaceful valley overlooking sheep and cow field. Has everything you need and the hot tub is a massive bonus. Could not recommend it enough.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the country, on the doorstep to Hardraw Force and within easy walking distance to Hawes. Our stay came with a fantastic breakfast and staying in the shepherds hut in the Dales was truly a unique experience that you’ll struggle to find anywhere else.

We had a fantastic time and will be back for another weekend we loved it

Our family had a wonderful stay at May half term. Kevin was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The accommodation was perfectly situated, clean and comfortable, a proper home from home. The use of the kayaks was such a huge bonus, thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay, the cabin was very clean and had everything I needed for the few nights. Amanda was very helpful and recommended some really nice local walks which were beautiful, the cabin was secluded but also not far from shops which was handy. I highly recommend staying here, the hot tub was the cherry on the cake.

Fabulous stay at the Shepherds Hut. Very peaceful and private. Easy to find and walkable to the nearest town/ village. Lots to do in the area, however just sitting in the woodland and watching the wildlife can keep you captivated for hours. The hut was cosy and exactly as described in the listing. It was wonderful to watch the squirrels whilst drinking tea in a super comfortable bed! We would highly recommend staying here if you want to escape, refresh and unwind. Thank you.

Gorgeous shepherds hut, as described. Jane was super helpful and always on hand. Hut was very clean, with basics provided. Hot tub was lovely. Location was perfect for those who like the outdoors, plenty of walks and some beautiful scenery. Not far from other villages and towns, and a spectacular chippy! Definitely what we needed after a rubbish 12 months, thankyou Jane 🥰

We had a lovely stay at Dunty’s Lodge! The lodge is so cosy and clean, the hot tub was great and the area is so private and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying! James and Sarah were so quick to respond to any questions and gave detailed instructions for check in/safe use of fire and hot tub. Absolutely loved this stay:)

This is such a beautiful little place. Exceeded my expectations. Really helpful messages before we arrived and on arrival (we were early and had agreed to leave the car) they surprised us and had the hut ready for us so we could unload and get settled early. We had home baked cookies delivered by victorias daughter and we loved little Stanley the sausage dog. The just is beautiful and such attention to detail. Everything had been thought of and everything really high quality like the crockery. Bed is super comfy. Location is great. I can’t speak more highly of this place and Victoria’s family were just so welcoming and lovely. Well definitely stay again

Fabulous little annexe, everything you need for a couple. Beautiful location, only 5 minutes out of Ulverston, with some fabulous restaurants. Easy access to all of the lakes, some fabulous walks and activities. Thoroughly recommend staying here. Very friendly and responsive host, lives next door so on hand for any issues and gives good recommendations for what to do and restaurants in the area.

Our stay at Hygge Lodge was wonderful!The space was clean,cozy and so private, it was exactly as described. The photos don’t do the surroundings justice, the views are spectacular. John was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting the Lakes.

We had an amazing time and so did our puppy. Great location especially right next door to the pub. Loved how accommodating it was for our puppy and the pod exceeded our expectations
