Nono‘s Cottage ist ein wunderbares Refugium mit viel Platz. Wir haben es sehr genossen, das sehr gut ausgestattete Haus zu bewohnen. Die Betten sind sehr gut und wir hatten zu zweit zwei Bäder, was für ein Luxus! Micheàl erlaubt das Aufladen des Elektroautos auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Haus, so dass man jeden Morgen vollgeladen die Umgebung erkunden kann. Das Auto ist aber auch sehr wichtig, denn die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Restaurants sind nicht fußläufig erreichbar. Micheàl hilft auch bei Rückfragen und Problemen sofort und ist immer erreichbar. Nono‘s cottage ist eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine luxuriöse und geräumige Unterkunft suchen, um den Ring of Kerry, den Nationalpark oder die Dingle-Halbinsel zu erkunden. Great place to stay for vising West Cork. A bit isolated so driving was a must but very peaceful and the stars are amazing at night. The wifi and phone reception were the only slight issues and they didn't really impact anything. Will definitely come back again. Pat was lovely too and really easy to deal with.

Lavinia’s house was wonderful. At the perfect half-way spot on the Ring of Kerry. We stepped out the front door and saw the most beautiful starry sky at night. So close to Darrynane Beach, our favorite beach in all of Ireland. We enjoyed the hike behind the house, with the most beautiful views. The house is clutter free with lots of space for our personal things, perfectly clean and has lots of farm house charm. Both bathrooms worked well, plenty of hot water. My kids loved playing fetch with Holly. Plenty of space in the well stocked kitchen for family meals. We highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about our stay, it was wonderful. John’s house was as described, very clean and well appointed. The location was private and secluded but also convenient to Killarney and all that it has to offer. We had a large span of ages and it suited everyone’s needs. An added bonus was the sheep fields that surrounded the house, with resident sheep. John was there upon arrival to explain the accommodations and some of the particulars of the house. I can’t recommend his home enough. Wished we had stayed longer and hope to be back soon. Thanks John!

This was such a generous space for 7 adults and 4 children under 11. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the lovely back garden and its gas barbecue and in the evening the fire pit. The kitchen had every piece of equipment imaginable and loads of plates and cutlery etc The view out the back was the mountains out front the sea and further the Iveragh Penninsula in County Kerry. We had food from the food truck at the next door pub and lunch at O Neills in Allihies. Of course crab sandwiches with the wonderful Adrienne at Mc Cathy’s bar in Castletownbere. Walks to Cleanach and the Arches, swims at Travara and the cable car for some thrills. A special and generous place. (It would be wonderful if there were a safe off road path to the little beach or some provision by the county council to make the road more pedestrian friendly).

Absolutely magical! Our whole family fell in love with this incredible home in Cork. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view—it honestly felt like something out of a movie. Every window seemed to frame a postcard-perfect landscape, and we found ourselves constantly stopping to soak it all in. The house itself was warm, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for a family getaway. Spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee or gathering for a family dinner, it felt like home in the best way possible. We left already talking about when we’ll come back. If you're considering this place—don’t hesitate. It's a gem, and we can’t wait to return!

Anne & Gerry's place is an absolute gem. Relax in the garden, while watching the ebb & flow of the tidal estuary. Enjoy the antics of the Egrets, Heron, and Hooded Crow who are in splendid abundance. Curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of the good stuff. Pop into Skibbereen or Clonakilty if you want to stretch your legs. Or just enjoy the afternoon sun with a pint at Nolan's (ask Dennis about his on-going "battle" with the local Rooks and Jackdaws). Anne & Gerry's is a wonderful place to slow things down, and focus on Nature and simplicity. You will sleep beautiful sleeps at Lazy Acre, and awake to days of delicious indolence.

We have fallen in love with Julie’s beautiful studio. Everything about the home is gorgeous, the house is so equipped, there are so many amenities and the pool and garden are fantastic. It’s definitely our favourite Airbnb that we’ve been to and we’ll definitely come back.

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

We had a glorious few days in Julie’s beautiful cottage. We stayed there many years ago and the cottage and gardens were as lovely and as well kept as we remember. Lots of beautiful walks and cycles from our doorstep, not to mention the views from the cottage. We were sorry to leave but hope to return again.

Duckling cottage was the perfect place for our break! The setting within Ballymaloe is absolutely beautiful. The space was ideal, enough room, cosy, comfy bed and sofas. Room to eat and oven and cooker worked perfectly. All the staff at Ballymaloe were really lovely and friendly! Robyn was very helpful and kind, she came over with things we needed within minutes of messaging her. I would definitely recommend Duckling cottage and would love to be back!

Great area and good location for exploring the ring of Kerry

Laharandota was an absolute dream. We booked both the cottage and the studio and both of them were impeccable. The cottage feels like a true home, everything you need is taken care of in a highly detailed and organised way. You could easily stay here for longer periods, while the Studio is best suitable for shorter visits. Must make a special note about the garden, which feels like a paradise. The giant Gunnera next to a fairy stream were very mystique. The swimming pool is awesome. We managed to see whales and dolphins swim in the distance. The post office /shop in Kilcrohane is a must-visit, takes you back 50 years in time. Thank you Julie for everything, we will return. 🙏🏼

Katarina’s place was perfect for our 2 nights stay exploring the Mizen Peninsula. Amazing views. Katarina was very welcoming and friendly flu and gave us great recommendations. Beds were super comfy. Highly recommend ☺️

Stayed for 3 nights and wished I had booked longer. Felt right at home. located was lovely, loved waking up and taking the dog for walks along the stone beach with stunning views. The mobile home was cosy and slept great as was so peaceful. Will be back for sure.

We were very pleased with the stay at Kevin's Rose Cottage. The work they put in to blend the historic stone renovation is marvelous. Traditional Irish stone meets Nordic design influence interior. The spacious kitchen and dining room are well-appointed, and we loved the lighting in the ceiling. The location is nice 15 minute trip to Adrigole- a delightful small town. Popping up to Kenmare is not too long with the not to miss trip through Healy's Pass - what a beautiful drive. The views and flora you see are remarkable, even though the rhododendron in bloom are majestic, they are highly invasive, so bit of a double-edged sword. The gardens at Garinish Island are worth a visit by a quick ferry ride as well. We enjoyed the DVD selection! Accessibility note: tough steps so Mom had to walk around outside to the front door from the lovely Dutch door exit by her lower room to the restroom on middle floor, but it was manageable. Thank you Kevin for sharing your place with us and others.

Deuxième séjour au cottage sur la jetée. La maison et la vue sur la baie sont toujours aussi bien même sous la pluie. Idéalement situé au calme à Kenmare, restaurants, boutiques et promenades à pied. Merci Hélène !

Loved stopping at Mary’s place , We was visiting family in youghal , we normally book into a hotel but thought we would try air b and b We wasn’t disappointed at at all what a find , clean and tidy great location great views across the bay ! We arrived late evening and Mary had left the lights on for our arrival ! thanks ever so much for leaving out some milk and breakfast items for us it was a lovely touch ! Will definitely recommend Mary’s place and will return

We absolutely loved our stay at Ann and Donal’s farm! The setting was stunning, with beautiful views in every direction. They were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of orange juice and the unique opportunity to milk a cow. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic countryside getaway.

We loved our stay at Majella's place! Myself and my parents stayed there for 4 nights. It is such a beautiful and peaceful area and the house is super spacious, clean and well equipped - exactly what we were looking for! There is so much to see in Beara Peninsula. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Having the house as our base was just perfect. The landscape is so stunning, even more beautiful than in the pictures. The house had everything we needed. We cooked most days so having all the kitchen equipment was really helpful. Majella is very friendly and super responsive. She gave us a lot of tips and recommendations to enjoy our stay in the area.
