This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

It is suitable for a couple or an individual and has one double bedroom along with a full kitchen with cooking facilities, a shower room with toilet and a comfy living room with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We have free wifi .. The Cabin is located on the grounds of our family farm and is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished. In a great location , just a 15 minute drive to Killarney. Stunning mountain views. Gap of Dunloe just a few minutes away.
