Luxury Eco Cottage by the Sea - Inch Beach

AaronRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Iris's Inch Beach cottage. Great location with a view of the beach. The house was very nice and was a short to walk down to the beach! It was a great launching point to check out the sights in the area; Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Slea Head Drive and Conor's pass were all a short drive away. Check in was easy with Iris at the bed and breakfast, even arriving late like we did around 10pm.
A bright bedroom features a double bed, topped with decorative pillows and a light-colored quilt. A mirror and dresser are visible, along with a lamp adding soft illumination. A neatly rolled set of towels is placed on the bed, completing the serene environment.

Welcome to Youghal

Finbar & Rose welcomed me with open arms. I got the full run of the house along with my daughter. They both couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely stay there again. I would recommend this property 100% and you coukdnt get better hosts than Finbarr and Rose.

Luxury Lake side Property Split level bungalow

RobertRating, 5 stars35 months ago
Alan and Elaine are unbelievable hosts. Trust me you get way more than what you pay for in this place. Words can’t express how awesome and majestic the view is of Lough Guitane. Two families (4 adults and 7 kids ages 5-14) stayed six nights and saw a lot of the area thanks to Alan and his awesome recommendations. Five large bedrooms give us plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of very nice and well kept washrooms, a wonderfully large kitchen and sitting areas facing the lake with gigantic floor to ceiling windows give you a great view of the lake. The kids appreciated the gaming systems in the “second” sitting room. There were plenty of toys outside to play with. The kids spent a lot of time on these outdoor toys (racing trikes and mini tractors etc). If you’re into animals, you’re in for a treat as the sheep, cows, ducks and hens were all visiting in their neighbouring pasture regularly. The kids loved checking on them and even gave them names. The water is a very short walk down to the beach (perhaps 100m) on the same property. From there you can canoe or kayak (provided by the hosts) or even swim, which we all did with regularity. I strongly recommend hiking mangerton mountain, which is a five min drive away. Laundry room, kitchen supplies, freezer, spices, there was everything we needed. What a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend.

Large Seaside Cottage with Outstanding Views

JaneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a lovely place! Stunning situation and view! (Car absolutely essential!) Hugh was super helpful! Responded within minutes! Nice food at Rosie’s. Very good Euro Spar in Whitegate. Would absolutely love to return. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey for only 2 people. Thanks for everything, Hugh.
The image captures a serene bay at sunset, with hues of pink and orange reflecting on the water. A sailing boat floats gently, framed by lush green hills and scattered clouds, while small vessels can be seen in the distance.

Fabulous sea and bay views, 3 bedrooms.

JohnRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Absolutely beautiful location! Views were amazing from the high location of the cottage - sunsets, view of the inlet, and even a demonstration of the local rowing club one evening. Very interesting drive in also - along quiet roads and through a couple of small villages with great restaurants. The cottage is very cozy with the fireplace and well equipped. Would highly recommend Evanna's place!

Country house with a view

BridgetRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Mary’s house is simply spectacular. Our party of 4 felt very at home. The house was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with stunning country views. The fire was lit for our arrival, Mary is very thoughtful. The donkeys are a very fun addition with Denis allowing us to feed them. Mary’s house exceeded our expectations and would 100% recommend it, everything was seamless.

Absolutely amazing location, a home away from home. The house was homely and comfortable, had everything we needed. Kay was quick to respond to any questions we had and check in was easy and flexible. Our baby slept so well there which was great! She loved the space in the house to run around in! The house is a few minutes walk from the village which was so handy. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Mangerton Self Catering

JeffRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our stay at Micheal's place was wonderfully peaceful and comfortable. The location was ideal for both the solitude of its remoteness and yet only a 10-15 min drive to the center of Killarney. The place is walking distance to the trail head of Mangerton Mountain as well as trails into Killarney National Park. We had a maintenance issue during our stay (things happen) but Michael dealt with it straight away and all was good. We hope Michael's place will be available during our next visit to Killarney.

Lake view Cottage

TimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Kathleen’s exceeded all of our expectations. We enjoyed daily drawing sessions of the rugged Kerry landscape through the windows facing Lake Currane, we laughed at the antics of magpies in the nearby field, and we enjoyed both the local seaside, and expeditions by bus to nearby towns. All in all, our stay was relaxing and inspirational. Thanks again, Kathleen!
