The apartment, was spacious, clean and tidy. The views from the balcony were stunning. Watching the sun rise and set over the Blackwater river was the perfect start and end to the day. Close to supermarkets and the main shopping and restaurants. Will definitely, return to this apartment in the future.

we had the most fantastic stay! the location is stunning, waking up to the sound of the sea and taking a swim first thing in the morning was an added bonus. the accommodation was comfortable and full of character, everything you could need is provided. the bar and restaurant next door are just amazing!

Fabienne’s place was great for value. It had all that we needed. The surroundings were fabulous! The garden area was full of little gems and lovely to stroll around. They were very helpful hosts. Great little find!

We had a luxurious and wonderful stay at Niall’s. The apartment is fantastic, it has everything you need even for a longer stay. Bus into the city is located very close to the apartment. Niall was flexible with our check in and check out times which helped us a lot. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a great stay at Janet's place. Everything was just as she described. Although the bathroom and kitchen are dated, they worked just fine for us.

Gorgeous peaceful location with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. Lovely to watch birds at their feeder on the patio. The house is extremely comfortable with walls decorated with charming prints and landscapes. Enjoyed the welcome pack - barm brack, brown bread and jam - with vase of flowers. Thank you Jim.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at Rita's, it was super easy to get to and has stunning views. Beds were super comfy and the sun room couch was a slice of heaven!

This is one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The photos don’t do it justice, the home, grounds & view of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking ! Everything you need is on hand, we were inspired! Fresh flowers & comfy blankets, books, every detail was taken care of. We did not want to leave. Gavin was friendly and gave us great tips & suggestions for exploring this incredible area. We would give 10 stars if we could!!! Book this extraordinary stay.!

Absolute must stay!! Marie is so friendly and the place they’ve put together is just perfect and they keep it in tip-top shape. The hot tub is wood fired (so cool!) and relaxing as can be. The location is in a spacious area with cows and horses that you may just see walking onto the beach. 12/10, would stay there again!!

Anne & Gerry's place is an absolute gem. Relax in the garden, while watching the ebb & flow of the tidal estuary. Enjoy the antics of the Egrets, Heron, and Hooded Crow who are in splendid abundance. Curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of the good stuff. Pop into Skibbereen or Clonakilty if you want to stretch your legs. Or just enjoy the afternoon sun with a pint at Nolan's (ask Dennis about his on-going "battle" with the local Rooks and Jackdaws). Anne & Gerry's is a wonderful place to slow things down, and focus on Nature and simplicity. You will sleep beautiful sleeps at Lazy Acre, and awake to days of delicious indolence.

Barbaras lovely Dromana House is situated on a beautiful location in the Irish countryside on a cliff overlooking the river. The house itself looks even better and is beautifully furnished. Barbara is a gracious host and very quick to respond. Definitely recommend staying here when visiting the area.

This is the perfect spot for a trip to Kinsale. It's right in the heart of everything, but we were never bothered with noise. We weren't lucky with the weather, but the apartment was so lovely to spend time in, that it really didn't matter.

The place is easy to reach and you have good parking. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. We had a power outage, but the generator immediately started and everything was functional. If we needed help, we got it right away. We felt very comfortable, thank you for letting us stay with you.

What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. Fabulous location that is walkable to many attractions as well as excellent restaurants and pubs. Super cute property that looks out on the water. Appreciated them leaving coffee! Don’t miss the roaring donkey pub on Wednesday night.

Such a wonderful location to get away from the hustle and bustle. We hired a car and drove to Cobh, Cork, Kinsale & Waterford which we super easy to get to. Joan couldn’t have done more for us. It was our first visit to Youghal but definitely not our last. Wonderful restaurant at the Walter Raleigh Hotel, just across the road. Amazing food and friendly people. Fabulous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house was fantastic and Nick is a great host with custom made recommendations about cycling and hiking in the neighbourhood.
