Lorna’s place is idyllic if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, with amazing quirky features all over her property. Ideal place for dog owners and one of the most amazing beaches in Ireland, Inch strand is just 15 minutes by car from Lorna’s place! One can continue further on the coast road to Dingle and the views were breathtaking! Staff were incredible and as I arrived too late for dinner in the most unusual restaurant onsite, they obliged by making me a takeaway vegetarian meal, and that was delicious.

We arrived in beautiful sunshine to this oasis in scenic west Cork. Jackie and Jonathan were very welcoming and so kind and helpful throughout our stay. I forgot to thank them for the fresh eggs! The chalet is pretty, and comfortable and had everything we needed. Great garden furniture and a lovely welcome vase of flowers outside. Plenty of useful condiments at hand, tea, coffee, milk, breakfast cereals. Also a beautiful jar of their own produced honey. The courtyard is so pretty and the grounds are beautiful to walk and enjoy the scenery and all the lovely animals. Their two dogs are the best welcoming committee at all times and wander over for some doggy love which was so gorgeous. There are so many beautiful places to visit nearby … the scenery is stunning! Thanks you both for a wonderful stay.

Fearnog house is a cosy two bedroom house located near Castlemaine, Co. Kerry on the Dingle Peninsula, mid ways between Dingle and Killarney on the Wild Atlantic Way, ideally located for touring the Ring of Kerry. Its only 10 mins drive from Inch Beach, which has 5kms of golden sand and Restaurants. Only 15 mins from Tralee. We are also on the popular looped walking trail, "the Uphill Downhill Loop Walk" Only a 2 min drive to the local Boolteens Village that has 2 pubs a restaurant & a church.

We had 9 wonderful days at Ian's fantastic farm. Very quiet on a mountain near Tralee. We were able to explore Kerry's all over Southwest from there. Absolutely fantastic area!!! Ian is super relaxed, friendly and humorous. Talked to us regularly and we were also lucky enough to have a farm tour with locals and him! Very very interesting and really recommended if you want to escape the big city like us! Thanks!!!

The place is very quiet and peaceful. Kids could explore without having to worry about them disturbing anyone. They loved cutting bamboo and feeding the donkeys. We loved picking and cooking fresh vegetables. Other than a little dust under the beds and behind the heaters, the place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. Ian took us a tour around the farm on the first day and was very friendly and entertaining.

A great, unique place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was a real bonus after a day exploring. Large property and kids loved going down to the beach and finding the bridge and waterfall.
