Great stay. Very private and nice to walk around and see the animals. Incredible view and the pool was amazing! Perfect for a couple looking to get away from Lisbon but not too far to drive!

This is a beautiful minimalist house in a stunning location. The house is isolated amongst the cork trees and feels very remote, though you are only 10 minutes from the nearest village. Monica was incredibly helpful and provided a wonderful guidebook. Our family of 5 were very happy here for 5 nights and enjoyed exploring Alentejo.

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Beautiful house with everything you need, Lovely private outside area. Hosts always answered any questions quickly. A car is needed to get around. Had a brilliant week relaxing here with our family.

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien eine Woche in Daniel's Haus verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus und Grundstück sind nicht nur groß, sondern auch schon eingerichtet bzw. angelegt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und mit beheiztem Pool, neuem Kicker, Yogamatten, der Tischtennisplatte und dem Grill gibt es auch ohne Ausflüge viel zu tun. Aber angesichts der schönen, ruhigen Natur (ab und zu nerven das Hundegebell etwas) in unmittelbarer Umgebung und den vielseitigen Strände (im Westen mit Wellen, bei Sesimbra ruhig karibisch, allerdings kalt:-)) wäre es schade, auf Ausflüge zu verzichten. Man braucht allerdings einen Mietwagen und Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind etwas weiter weg (bis den den kleinen Shop im Ort, der Essentials anbietet). Wir würden das Haus definitiv nochmal buchen.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in traumhafter Landschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben in dieser tollen Wohnung mit 100 % Erholungswert. Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin .

Cute and cozy yet spacious home, with a nice yard, next to cute little village of Comporta. Kitchen had what we needed for us to comfortably prepare meals, and house already had basic bathroom and kitchen supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo/bodywash, etc.), plus a bottle of wine which was very nice! Area is very quiet, calm, and great for families. Pool was clean and spacious, never felt too busy. Small grocery store inside the complex was reasonably priced and very practical. The nearest beach is beautiful, but a 30 min walk (with kids), including a stretch on a major road, so not practical. It was a 5 min drive but parking filled quickly. The village of Comporta is cute but small and was busy, but other options for restaurants just a short drive (within 10-20 min) away, and many other beaches to explore along the coast. Overall, Carla was a great host and we enjoyed our stay.

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Matteos Unterkunft hätte für unsere Urlaubszwecke nicht besser geeignet sein können. Wir reisten mit Großeltern und zwei Kindern. Alles war wie angegeben und der Ausblick war fantastisch. Wir hatten für die Zeit einen Mietwagen und Ericeira mit all seinen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war tatsächlich nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Tagsüber bereisten wir diverse Ausflugsziele und den späten Nachmittag genossen wir am hiesigen Pool! Wir waren absolut begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. Ficámos completamente encantados com a estadia! A casa está num local super tranquilo, rodeada pela natureza, só se ouvem passarinhos e galinhas, o que torna tudo ainda mais relaxante. Estava tudo impecavelmente limpo e a casa tinha um cheirinho ótimo logo à chegada. A piscina é um verdadeiro paraíso, com água morninha graças ao sol que apanha o dia todo! A Patrícia foi incrível, super prestável e atenciosa. Deixou-nos um vinho e umas tapas de boas-vindas que nos souberam mesmo bem. Foram dias perfeitos, sem nada a apontar. Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar em breve!

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

Een thuis weg van huis? Dan moet je bij Casa ROXO zijn. Casa ROXO is een oase van rust in een prachtig groene omgeving. Wakker worden met de vogeltjes, genieten van de zon onder een olijfboom… Ik was vooral dol op de hangmat! Saskia is heel toegankelijk en behulpzaam, en een heel aangename host. Geen vraag was te veel! Het huisje is gerieflijk voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Het zwembad deel je met de andere accommodatie (voor ons geen probleem) en is perfect van temperatuur. Grândola vind je ook vlakbij (10 min rijden). De brave en knuffelige beestenboel krijg je er gratis bij (vonden wij alleen maar top!). Bedankt Saskia en Frans voor een heerlijke vakantie, wij kunnen het van harte & oprecht aanraden :-)

Muy linda la casa! Muy acogedora, con lindo espacio exterior con mesa, hamaca, sillón, piscina, churrasquera y ducha. Muy bien equipada, nos dejaron todo lo necesario para una cómoda estadía. Con buenos equipos de aire acondicionado, duchas y baños impecables. Buena ubicación en un pueblo tranquilo, a 30 minutos de las playas de Comporta y Carvahal. 100% recomendada!

Foi das melhores estadias que tive, contamos voltar. Éramos um grupo de 8 casais e duas crianças, passámos um fim de semana maravilhoso e relaxante. A casa da Susana tem tudo o que é preciso, e nem sabíamos que necessitávamos, para uma estadia espectacular. Um dos pormenores a que demos bastante valor, foi existirem copos/copos de vinho para a piscina/exterior. A propriedade estava super limpa e tem estacionamento com sombra. A casa tem toalhas para a piscina e a cozinha está totalmente equipada. Susana tem preparado uma lista de indicações sobre restaurantes, praias, chefes que vão a casa.. Uma atenção espectacular, obrigada! Quem nos recebeu foi a Sra. Sónia que é um miminho de pessoa, a quem agradeço muito a simpatia e atenção. Contamos voltar e aconselho, imenso, a casa da Susana! The house was like heaven on earth! From the serene surroundings, to the accessible peaceful beach and beautiful interior. Wish I could have stayed longer to be honest! Isabel was a great and responsive host! Will be recommending this stay to all our friends.

This place was stunning. We had a great stay! There were six of us and more than enough room. The host was fantastic and super easy to get in touch with. I would definitely stay here again.
