Our stay at José's was a complete success! The place was beautiful and the view of the horse meadow simply fantastic. We especially liked the lovingly prepared breakfast basket in the morning – a great gesture! Helping to feed the animals was also a real highlight, especially for nature lovers. The opportunity to take small hikes over horse and cow meadows made our stay perfect. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back if we are in the area!

This is a beautiful minimalist house in a stunning location. The house is isolated amongst the cork trees and feels very remote, though you are only 10 minutes from the nearest village. Monica was incredibly helpful and provided a wonderful guidebook. Our family of 5 were very happy here for 5 nights and enjoyed exploring Alentejo.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Beautiful house with everything you need, Lovely private outside area. Hosts always answered any questions quickly. A car is needed to get around. Had a brilliant week relaxing here with our family.

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

I remember reading a review of one guest saying how this was the nicest ABNB they ever stayed at, and i have to say that this was spot on. the location and view are spectacular. the house excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Host was also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Cute and cozy yet spacious home, with a nice yard, next to cute little village of Comporta. Kitchen had what we needed for us to comfortably prepare meals, and house already had basic bathroom and kitchen supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo/bodywash, etc.), plus a bottle of wine which was very nice! Area is very quiet, calm, and great for families. Pool was clean and spacious, never felt too busy. Small grocery store inside the complex was reasonably priced and very practical. The nearest beach is beautiful, but a 30 min walk (with kids), including a stretch on a major road, so not practical. It was a 5 min drive but parking filled quickly. The village of Comporta is cute but small and was busy, but other options for restaurants just a short drive (within 10-20 min) away, and many other beaches to explore along the coast. Overall, Carla was a great host and we enjoyed our stay.

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. We were completely delighted with the stay! The house is in a super quiet place, surrounded by nature, you can only hear birds and chickens, which makes everything even more relaxing. Everything was impeccably clean and the house smelled great right away. The pool is a true paradise, with warm water thanks to the sun that shines all day! Patricia was amazing, super helpful and attentive. He left us a welcome wine and some tapas that we really enjoyed. They were perfect days, with nothing to point out. We recommend it 100% and we hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is extremely welcoming, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with all the items we needed to make us feel at home. The outdoor area and pool are fantastic and we were still surprised by a little welcome treat, which made all the difference. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

We had a great time here, the area is quiet yet close to everything and the house is fantastic. We unfortunately ran into water access problems for a day (which the host can’t do anything about) but was fortunately well resolved by the helpful hosts

This place was stunning. We had a great stay! There were six of us and more than enough room. The host was fantastic and super easy to get in touch with. I would definitely stay here again.

The space was absolutely perfect for me and my 7 friends. The layout worked so well-each room was separate from the main living area, which gave everyone the privacy they needed, but we could still come together easily for meals and hangouts. I honestly can't express how lovely the place was, and Paula’s breakfast each morning was a real highlight-so thoughtful and delicious. Bruno went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived to a spotless home with welcome treats that instantly made us feel at ease. Truly a 5-star experience! Definitely planning another visit 😀

We felt very comfortable at Saskia's. The property is beautiful, the house is beautifully located, the pool is right outside the door. Absolutely quiet, all necessary destinations are easily accessible by car. Saskia is very friendly and very attentive to her guests. We were spoiled with wine and oranges from our own garden. Very happy to come back!
