Dirk’s place was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dirk himself was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience even better. He went out of his way to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed. The apartment is as described and as in the photos. You can easily get to public transport and the Lanxess Arena from here. We had the apartment for three and it was enough space for a weekend trip where we wanted to be on the road a lot. The apartment looks bigger than it is due to the two levels, but it does not offer much privacy from each other. For groups that need the accommodation mainly as a place to sleep, it is recommended. For three people, however, it is a little too small for my liking to stay there for a long time. This is definitely better with 2 people, as you can then use the sofa bed as a seat. All in all, we had a good time in Cologne and in the accommodation.

We spent a two-week vacation in the Eifel in May 2025 and decided on the "Apartment am See" by Marianne. Marianne is a very nice host and her apartment was exactly as described. The apartment is spacious, well furnished and the kitchen is also very fully equipped. The location of the apartment is well suited for excursions in the beautiful surroundings of the Eifel. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Just great! The reason for our stay was purely private in nature. The apartment served as a retreat for quite stressful days and this was absolutely great for that. This tranquility overlooking the Rhine is very relaxing. The amenities are great! Nothing is "spoiled", everything is in the best order.

We had such a lovely time at Peter and Anne’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared—perfect for both relaxing and working remotely. We were three people, and each of us had a comfortable bed to sleep in. We worked from the apartment during the day and spent our free time exploring the beautiful area on foot. We recommend car travel, but the bus station is just across the street. Everything was within walking distance, and the neighborhood had such a peaceful and charming vibe—and ducks! Anne was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. On our first day — which happened to be the start of the Cologne Carnival — Peter and Anne even picked us up from the train station. We weren’t prepared for the crowds and are genuinely thankful for their help. We highly recommend staying here if you plan to travel around this area. Dagmar’s place was so nice. Spotlessly clean. Complete with everything you’d need. Absolutely amazing views. It could be challenging for some to climb the hill and or steps but it is so worth it. Challenges when met can provide great rewards and this is true of Dagmar’s place. We loved it and would absolutely return when visiting the area.

We had a totally great stay. The location of the accommodation was perfect for us (concert in the Sparkassen Park). We were warmly welcomed by Kerstin, who also gave us tips. The accommodation is super clean, tidy and the bed super cozy. We thank you for everything and will be happy to come back! ❤️

Very satisfied with the property. Everything was clean and correct. Some comments are the lack of the fire bowl that was in the photos. This was an important point for us. And the TV didn't work well, but it may have been a one-time malfunction. Otherwise very satisfied. Quick responses and flexibility. Beautiful clean house with stunning views

We felt very comfortable at the place. The house is very cozy and has a lot of charm. It is conveniently located in the city center of Monschau and everything is within walking distance. There are many interesting things to explore nearby. Anke gives good recommendations for restaurants and excursions.

Beautiful little cottage, which is located in a campsite. We really had peace and quiet here and were able to relax well. There is everything you need in the house. The beds are comfortable, in the living room there is a large TV, where you can even watch Netflix. It has enough closets where you can store your private things. In the garden, there is a wooden barrel sauna and a large hot tub, which we used every day. At the campsite, there is a fine pizzeria where you can eat well. We had our own bikes with us and could ride to Koblenz in about 15 minutes. You can take great bike tours. Our recommendation would still be the city of Cochem, which can be reached by car in about 40 minutes. Here you can shop and drink a delicious wine.

We enjoyed our short trip with the group very much and had a great time in this very nice and spacious location. The house offers everything you can imagine and communication was tip top with the very friendly hosts. We felt comfortable and would book the house again. Thank you to Susan and Sabine!

Alexandra & Maik's cottage is really beautiful. It is warmly decorated and has a characteristic appearance. Everything is available to make you feel comfortable. You can walk up a hiking trail directly from the cottage. Ideal with a dog. Please note the stairs to the living area. Alexandra was very helpful and friendly. In the area you can take beautiful walks. You also have your own terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, adjacent to the forest. All in all a wonderful place to spend your vacation. Highly recommended!

Very nice place and modern. Close to everything, especially Dusseldorf. Great kitchen. Large refrigerator. If available I will stay here every time. (Note: There is no Marco, but his father Vittorio. Very kind man)

We had a great holiday in Barbara's fantastic house as a family with three teenage children. The location directly on the Rhine was great for us. We went daily by bike on the Rhine on great bike paths by bike to Cologne or Bonn. Many excursion destinations can be reached quickly. Langeln and the neighboring neighborhood have great restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the recreational area, which is only a few minutes away by bike, with great restaurants and sports facilities in Zündorf directly on the Rhine. Barbara's place is highly recommended!

Gabi was a great host, super friendly and accommodating. The apartment is as described and seen in the photos. There is a nice park in the area. It was a great stay.

Those who want to distance themselves from the city and enjoy their evening will find a little paradise in this apartment. For an apartment in an apartment building, this apartment is one of the best addresses in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. Although I was only there for one night for work, I felt absolutely welcome and at home from the start. I travel a lot for work and therefore know numerous BnBs! This apartment is really a little oasis and an absolute recommendation! Okay. The underground parking was not so easy to find at first, because the whole residential complex is a bit winding. Unfortunately, there is no elevator to the 3rd floor. None of that matters once you unlock the door. I was very satisfied, also with the entire communication. For me, this apartment is an absolute favorite. I'll be back!

The apartment is very modern, clean and has an amazing view which makes it very attractive. Henok is very friendly and organised. He planned all I needed for my stay and everything went very smoothly. It was a business trip for me but hopefully next time I will enjoy the city more. Thank you very much Henok!

It was absolutely perfect! Patricia was very friendly and easy to reach, welcomed us warmly, showed us everything and also gave us tips and recommendations for the area. The apartment is beautiful and lovingly furnished, you immediately feel comfortable. We had breakfast every day on the sweet, sheltered terrace. The apartment is wonderfully quiet. You just have to get used to the church bells. Everything was available and functional, everything as described and as in the photos. In addition, the location is unbeatable: in the middle of the pedestrian zone, quiet but everything is great within walking distance. Both the sights, the Moselle, the Rhine, the city center. Simply perfect!
