Staying at Maria’s place was just amazing. The location is stunning. Away from the main tourist areas, you have views from your own balcony… and they are stunning. Maria and her husband were wonderful and friendly. They helped with great local advice, restaurant recommendations and bookings and tourist info. The apartment was perfect. First class amenities. Stay here- you won’t regret it. Be advised it is on a mountain, so plan transportation accordingly. Hosts were charming and helpful. Numerous biking and hiking trails off the beaten path accessible from the town nearby, and close to train/roads to Bolzano and the Dolomites. The view from the home is spectacular and the mountainous farmland around is serene. Very quiet and peaceful, great to take a break from some of the busy parts of traveling.
