Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Christchurch City

The apartment was super clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We had an incident and called on Devon on a Saturday. She responded quickly and fixed the problem. The apartment is definitely walkable, but a little too many steps for my elderly Mum. The busses were easily accessible. Overall a fab place to stay. Thanks

Perfect location if you want to walk to stores or restaurant instead of driving. House was better than expected in terms of design and vintage look. Checking in is hard initially but I would ask for instructions beforehand and then park at the front of the Heritage if you’re coming by car, then drop the bags and park the car. Parking is very tightly spaced so be aware if you’re coming with a van. On the left side of the main entrance, there is street parking and a parking garage that you can pay for.

we had a great stay, was a great location was bright and sunny, had an amazing shower with great pressure and love that there is a pool and gym, the place was clean and Devon was so helpful and communicated so well. will definitely stay again.

Loved the space and location! Had everything we needed. Very spacious and tidy. Beautifully decorated and set up. Central location which was very useful for travelling in and around the area. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back if we are to return to Chch! :)

We had a great stay. Very quiet, despite being very close to supermarket and restaurants. The house was very relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Andrew was the most amazing host! My friend and I felt right at home. His place had the most amazing outlook off the back deck, which also had an awesome spa bath and fire pit. Andrew was an extremely helpful and responsive host, he helped us with our very late check in due to our flight arrival time, gave us great recommendations, and even drove us into the city and picked us up and gave us a little tour while we didn’t have a hire car. Andrew was so friendly and lovely to my friend and I, gave us our own space and also came to chat with us and share life stories. The bed was extremely comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were very clean and had everything we needed. Andrew even gave us a parting gift and insect repellant to take down to Queenstown for our travels. 100/10 would love to come back to stay again

Fantastic place to stay and highly recommend. Very clean and bedroom spacious and cozy. Fernanda and Andrew are both very friendly and accommodating, asked several times if I needed anything and went out of their way to live quietly; for the first few days I wondered if they even lived in the home because silent retreats are louder than this place. Location is in a nice residential area and the bus is directly across the street so easy access to get downtown. Price is very reasonable, especially considering what's included and condition of the home. Next time I'm in Christchurch I hope this place is available!

My whanau and I needed to be in CHCH for a tangi. Paul was incredible throughout the entire process from booking to checking out. Paul’s communication through was prompt and clear making the booking easy. Following checkout Paul also reached out and offered to courier something that was left behind… As you could imagine it was a pretty stressful time but he was understanding, flexible and kind throughout. Paul’s home was also fit for purpose. The amount of bedrooms for 12 of us and the additional stretchers he provided worked perfect fully numbers wise. The backyard was just amazing for the kids - especially when we needed them out of our hair to relax. The basketball goal and the swing an absolute hit. On behalf of our whanau we thank Paul and his family for their lovely home and if the unveiling is next year, we would love to book again. Nga mihi, The Williams Whanau

Michel and Jackie's house is beside the sea.The view outside the house is extremely amazing. Michel and Jackie are very warm and friendly. They almost provided everything we needed. The entire house is very clean and tidy, and it's also very convenient to park outside. This is truly the house of our dreams. If we pass by Christchurch next time, we will be back here!

We came back - I guess that says the most important: the place and their owners are just wonderful. Absolute recommendation to go there in every regard!

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay than at Tara-Jayne's. The house and grounds themselves are outstanding and the guest wing is wonderful. Everything has been thought of with your comfort in mind. If you want a quiet, stylish, interesting place to stay near Christchurch then this is the place for you!
