Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chesterfield County

This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

Our family of five had a quick stay at Josh’s and the home did not disappoint. It was spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The back porch and yard was our favorite space - the fire pit and twinkle lights created a great atmosphere. We would absolutely stay again.

Cara’s place is at the perfect location. There is the best coffee place just a couple of blocks away. If you are a person who likes to cook, she has some of the best equipment I’ve seen at Air BnBs. She is very thoughtful and made extra efforts to make our stay wonderful, even though she is a very busy woman. We appreciated her allowing us to enjoy her lovely place.

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

This home and this neighborhood is old and completely charming. Walking inside through the front door just feels good— everything is tastefully furnished and decorated with just the right touch of modern amenities. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Truly well done and a big thank you to our hosts! Blair was so responsive and helpful. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing stay that allowed us to have a perfect Richmond weekend. We loved the neighborhood and sitting in the front porch as well as frequenting the local restaurants and coffee shops. Comfy bed and it was nice to have the space to relax or use the kitchen.

Ryan's place was amazing; exactly as described in the pictures. Ryan was very responsible, and honestly, we did not encounter any issues. Overall, I would greatly recommend staying here.

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

Had a great time! Essence was a wonderful host! Granted, we didn’t need anything extra, as everything was ready to go. The location was a great location, with many fun things to do. Though the area was loud, it was still a great situation.

Great spot to stay right in the middle of the action. Lots of restaurants and things to do. you can walk everywhere if you want but the apartment also offers 2 parking spots at the garage across the street. The rooftop terrace was excellent with a great view especially at night or if you want to hear the birds sing in the morning while you drink your coffee. I have seen some complaints on the level of noise but to be honest we did not have that problem. I would say if you want any peace and quite don't stay in the heart of a city. But if you do it will be well worth it and give Kristy a try. Thanks and we will see you next time.

I had a great time staying here, Shaniesha was very responsive and proactive in making sure I had all the information I needed to make my check in very easy. the airbnb was very comfortable and clean, plenty of stores and places to eat within a short walking distance. a very short and easy drive to most places in downtown Richmond. This listing made me look forward to visiting Richmond more often this summer.

Paula’s was very nice!! I wish that we had more time to enjoy it. If I am ever in the Richmond area again I would definitely return.

Excellent comfortable home base for exploring Richmond. We enjoyed walking along the James River.

James is friendly and his place was clean, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. It was a pleasure staying at his Airbnb!

Briana was very helpful getting us checked in and stayed with us on the phone the entire process even though it was past 10pm. I really appreciated her thorough instructions and how patient and kind she was. The place was clean, cute, and very convenient. It had an oven for pizza when we got too tired and Netflix, as well as complimentary mints and coffee set out on a side table. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend this air bnb!
