Beach house vacation rentals in Chesil Beach

We stayed here in early June and loved the place. We were slightly perturbed that the sea view overlooked the Oasis Shop/Cafe small car park but in fact this was not noisy nor did it spoil the view. It is literally a 20 yard walk to the steep pebbled beach (some sand at low tide) and half an hour's walk to Weymouth pier along the promenade. There is also a frequent bus service. The accommodation is immaculate, having the living area upstairs. Everything we needed was provided - even an electric toothbrush charger in the bathroom. We spent many an hour on the balcony with drinks watching the swimmers, surfers, sailors and spotting the commercial/navy ships which often anchored in the bay. We had many a happy days out in the Weymouth area and were able to leave the car parked outside all the ten days as we used the bus services. We hope to return in the near future.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our stay, really spacious, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was great and the house was so close to the beach (less than 5 min walk). Aimee and Paul were really helpful and responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend booking a stay here!

The house is in a great location and neighborhood, beautiful views of the sea with the beach a 5 minute walk, there is even a lift down to the beach if needed. House was well equipped, very clean with clear instructions. Lots to do with great walks and shops nearby. Would highly recommend for a relaxing time in a very comfortable house with a great location!

Amazing place! Perfect location for a family holiday. The house has absolutely everything you need and more. We really enjoyed sea kayaking and paddle boarding with all Daves's kit. The sea is so close you can carry everything down to the shore. We really loved the hot tub and sauna and bbq area. The games room was a great space for the kids to hang out and play as well as the adults. We couldn't have wanted more. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this amazing house.

I loved my stay here! The location is fantastic, and the little garden in back was heavenly. I loved sitting outside at sunset and drinking coffee out there in the morning. Host was extremely gracious and had great recommendations (River Exe Cafe is a true gem). The house is extremely cozy. I wish I stayed here longer!

Amazing house with fantastic views of the harbour. Great location as you can either walk to the beach or the town, or get the historic rowing ferry for a couple of quid, right at the bottom of the steps of Nothe Gardens. The house was really well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay, making it feel like a home away from home. Good size bedrooms with plenty of space downstairs for the 8 of us. The garden is a real sun trap and we enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening. The hosts were brilliant - we couldn’t access the shed to get the BBQ and whilst we were out they had changed the lock and got it out ready for our return, amazing service! It was a lovely long weekend and we could’ve easily stayed longer - I can’t recommend Nothe House enough! Thank you so much!

Really lovely house - nicely decorated and very clean, with great facilities. The location is a tiny bit out of the main centre, near the harbour, but this just means it was quiet and the harbour is probably one of the nicest part of Weymouth anyway. Communication was great. There are no curtains in the bedrooms and the front of the house gets a lot of sun (which is lovely!) - so could be an issue for light sleepers.

Enjoyable stay in surprisingly roomy static caravan. The kitchen and living room were lovely and well stocked with pans and utensils etc. Everything really easy and a great location only 5 mins drive from the beach, Swimming pool and staff there were brilliant. Thanks

Bit of a mix up with the poor cleaner who had car troubles, but Leroy sorted that out immediately and was really helpful and responsive! The van is a fab size and in a great location, but quite a sturdy walk to the back and back. No trouble for us though, as we are big walkers! A really quiet site with easy access and parking. Everything we needed facilities wise was in the van and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks so much Leeroy! 🌟

My family and I had a wonderful stay, there was plenty to do for all ages. Very relaxing having swims and using the hot tub. Then preparing our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We ended each night with stories around the fire pit. Well worth a visit and would definitely love to visit again.

A wonderfully peaceful lodge and super helpful host, Abi. Deceptively spacious inside and beautiful sea views from the terrace. Terrific walks right from the front door too, wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits!

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

A well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable caravan on a fabulous site right by the beach with plenty to do. Caravan was lovely with everything we needed.

Such an amazing property in a great, central location. The house was very clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Julie was a great host with good communication.

We have just returned from our stay and it was the perfect choice for a family. Lots to do at the park when some down time was needed and great coastal location. The accommodation was great - outdoor space, lovely lounge area and little touches like high chair and bed rail for our toddler included. Anja has thought of everything you could need and was very quick to help when we needed support on arrival (my issue not a lack of communication from the host). All in all a great choice for our half term getaway and we will certainly book again.

Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Great location, could walk to everything in Beer. Great parking space at the back which made it easy for luggage. It was a lovely stay, would highly recommend. So convenient having the shop right next door! Would definitely stay again if we returned to Beer. Thanks Guys.x

Really lovely place in the heart of Portland

I had a great stay here. The house was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It was a very short walk from the train station, and really close to the beach.

Our girls birthday weekend stay was fabulous! From the time I booked the house, check in till checkout all questions answered with quick responses from Patrick / Alison thank you 😊 we had an amazing time ! Excellent location opposite the beach and promenade walks every morning. 👍 the beach is clean, water is clear and swimming was enjoyable. Seaside activities a walk away with cafes and restaurants. Beach house is home from home with all your home comforts and so much more, also spacious loved the 2 kitchens and en-suites to all rooms 👍 very clean and tidy we had an amazing time and are looking for another occasion to go back ! Thank you Patrick for sharing your house and allowing us to stay there 😊

Blue Bay cottage is a lovely fisherman’s cottage that has been modernised without losing the character charm of the property. It has been lovingly furnished to a high standard and had every amenity needed for a stay at a holiday town, down to crabbing nets and buckets. The location in the town is fabulous, shops, bars and restaurants all within minutes walk. We throughly enjoyed our stay over New Year and would not hesitate to come back.

Fabulous few days staying at The Annexe. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is there for you. Clean and comfortable with a pretty garden to sit in. Beautiful place with lovely views. Debbie and Derek are wonderful hosts, always on hand for advice on places to visit and to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed chatting to them. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We really enjoyed this Airbnb! It was very comfortable, the views were gorgeous, it was easy to get to restaurants and the beach and was very clean. Can’t go wrong with this place!
