Very nice bright house, quiet, with a private garden enclosed by a wall. Access to the town center can be by bike or on foot. Beach is a five-minute walk from the house. 10 minutes from La Rochelle (access possible by train), 15 minutes from Rochefort, 20 minutes from Île de Ré, 45 minutes from Oléron. It's a house I live in the rest of the time with my kids. So I rent it with ease. It is spacious and functional and simply equipped.
