I’ve been to many Airbnb’s during my life and this is the best. It is charming and interesting, very well maintained and well located. Spotlessly clean with all the things you need in the kitchen to cook regularly. Patrick is an excellent communicator and makes you feel at home. Check in and check out is easy and I always felt safe in the neighborhood. Be aware the stairs are steep.

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years. Laurent’s apartment is a stand out: by far the cleanest, most pleasing decorated, and architecturally interesting ever!! This apartment would be a contender for an Architectural Digest article on small homes. The location is ideal: situated on a quiet, dead-end alley between the Basilica and Le Jardin des Plantes, with a tram stop only a two minute walk away. Old Town is only a few steps beyond the Basilica, making walking around a real pleasure! Moreover: Laurent is the kindest, most thoughtful host!! He met us at check in, and showed how to operate all the appliances and the front door lock. He provided advice on restaurants and activities. Our train was delayed by several hours, and he arranged for a taxi to meet us at the train station and take us directly to the apartment. All in all, we could not have asked for a better stay, and agreed we could’ve moved in and lived here for another year! Montpelier is a lovely small city!! 💯💯

Thanks again to Léa for this stay! The apartment is not huge but perfect for a stay of a few days, clean and with all the necessary amenities, in addition to being very close to the city center (15-minute walk from the Place de la Comédie) Many restaurants are right next to the building, and the building is quiet and in very good condition 🙂 The apartment is on the top floor so travel light, but Léa is very responsive, friendly and accommodating (we were able to leave our luggage in the apartment after check-out time, to enjoy our last day) I would 100% recommend!

An outdoor terrace features a large orange umbrella providing shade over a comfortable seating area. A wooden dining table with matching chairs sits alongside a small, round coffee table, creating a welcoming space for relaxation and meals among potted plants.

Stephanie's play was perfect. We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room, comfy furniture, great kitchen with everything you'd need and a walkable neighborhood close to many sites and restaurants and markets nearby. We would highly recommend staying here.
