Thank you so much Thelma for our beautiful stay, we had such a relaxing and wonderful time! To anyone reading this, Thelma's place was gorgeous and immaculate, we highly recommend! Spotless, cosy and inviting. The robes, slippers, toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, bread, eggs and more was so thoughtful!

What we liked the most was the location of the house, in the heart of the English countryside. Very quiet and wonderful nature place. The house was cozy. Suzanne has been very friendly and very communicative.

My stay was amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable. Ray was extremely helpful, tidy, and just overall a great host. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend

I was arriving late and Chris met me at the main road so I could follow him to the place. He was great, he showed me the access and details of the place and left me to it. He brought logs over for the fireplace which was great as I hasd't bought any. The place is small but you have what you need. Room was warm and cosy and the setting is just amazing. if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of daily life...this is the place to come. There is another Lodge across the other side of the lake but not close enough to disturb your privacy or in view of each other. I went to Market Harborough which is the nearest town..they have some fantastic restaurants and cafes and bars...plus a waitrose,.aldi etc just 10 to 12 mins drive away. You are very secluded at the Lodge..you are immersed in the countryside so great walks and views plus you see lots of wildlife around you. I will definitely be visiting again

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Had a lovely stay at Reubens place, was just as described and immaculate, beautiful garden.

We feel so fortunate that Amelia's place was available when we had to make a last-minute reservation! Our favorite thing about her place is that it is QUIET and PEACEFUL; at the same time, it is in a beautiful residential neighborhood near parks and within walking distance of local restaurants, pubs, and cafes, as well as easy access to public transport throughout the Greater London area. Amelia communicated with us clearly, promptly, and in a friendly manner. Highly recommended, and I would definitely book her place again.

Jules’ place was great - the location was perfect for us, close to the restaurants, train and other things to do. It had everything our family of six needed (incl a toddler) and was laid out efficiently. Jules was responsive throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Robin’s retreat was a fantastic stay and did everything we wanted in a comfortable nights stay just outside London. Emily was proactive and friendly in her messages and offered help on us ftrinf into London after we had left. The self-contained studio had all the homely amenities you would need to have comfortable stay, include milk for my brews that I had forgotten. Cooked a lovely meal in the evening and an English breakfast in the morning using all the facilities. Properly is on Emily’s land but is sperate to the main house and private. Sat watching the countryside and her hens in the morning in peace. Would recommend a stay and if I need a place near London I would use again. Thank you Emily. 😁

Lovely place and hosted by a friendly host

Graham and Alison were fantastic hosts. Graham sent traffic notifications on our journey to the property, whilst Alison warmly welcomed us on arrival. We received a thorough introduction to the lodge, which was well equipped with all the little extras, along with complimentary food and snacks. The hot tub was meticulously clean and located by Grand Union Canal, so frequent waves and champagne toasts from the canal boats as we relaxed in the hot tub gave us a wonderful sense of 'living-the-life'! The surroundings were beautifully tranquil, harnessing natural habitat and wild flowered fields. Truly stunning! Graham and Alison..... you thought of everything and we look forward to our next stay. P.s The HayGate Honey is a must!!!

The POD was amazing a home from home. Everything you want from your stay, clean, tidy and peaceful. It’s well equipped and has an amazing shower and bathroom plus the bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or long stay a perfect host and accommodation.

A fabulous shepherd’s hut renovated from scratch by the owners. Everything was so well thought out meaning we had all that was needed and more for a lovely peaceful stay. We stayed for a couple of nights and walked to the King William IV the first night where we enjoyed spectacular views and a great meal. Ipsden itself is a small and totally unspoilt village with lots of local footpaths. My husband brought his bike and enjoyed a couple of rides in the beautiful undulating countryside. It was such a lovely place we would like to return some time in the future and spend a little more time exploring the area.

Lush little cabin, nice and secure if you have a dog. Very cosy and comfortable.

We had a fantastic time at this cabin! It was incredibly clean and well-organized, with everything we needed for our stay. The peaceful atmosphere made it such a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the hot tub and the outdoor kitchen area—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hosts were really helpful and provided clear directions, which made our arrival smooth. I’m honestly a bit bummed we only stayed one night because we would have loved to enjoy it longer. We're definitely planning to return for a longer stay in the future! Thank you!

This place that Katie has is truly beautiful, it was a perfect stay and to be honest didn’t want to leave and could have spent a lifetime there and wouldn’t have been a wasted time. It a lovely space and very cosy with the best view anyone could want just outside the doors.

Really enjoyed our stay in The Woods cabin. Easy to get inside, very clean and well kept. We thought it would more secluded (there were houses close by) but it was private enough. The tub outside is such a great touch. Would recommend!

Just what we needed for a weekend break. Stunning location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a country side get away.

Nice studio with lots of open space. Shiny, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and kitchen had cereals and coffee to start the day with breakfast. Would definitely come again if I needed a night in the area. And there's chickens running around in the garden who follow you! 🐓 Especially great for anyone wanting a stay close to Stapleford aerodrome

I chose this place as an escape from my city-life engagements, so I loved the quiet; and the convenience of the location. It was my first time in St Albans, so there were lots to explore, most of them at walkable distance! Christina and her husband are lovely, helpful people; I enjoyed our conversations too. Her thoughtfully picked food/ snacks were perfect! (I mean, Horlicks and Prunes, who would have thought! 😍). I would totally stay with them again, if I get to come around again! I was amazed, as others have been before me, at the generous number of provisions provided to make anyone’s stay easy and comfortable. I kept finding more each day. It is quite unusual but implores such gratitude from a visitor and makes it feel like the host is a caring person. I was also amazed at the accommodation itself because it is well planned and offers so much in a small space. It was quiet there and the bonus was being able to park on the premises. I would recommend this place.

This was such a fantastic place to stay, absolutely immaculate and has everything you would need and more. Fully equipped kitchen making cooking easy and a very ample bathroom with hot water. Bed was super comfy and at window height to take in the view. Location is very peaceful with only the sheep for company! Would recommend for any length of stay!
