It is flooded with natural daylight thanks to the large glazed doors and porthole windows. Maximum occupancy 2, adults only. No pets. Fully off-grid, solar panels power all lighting and kitchen appliances. The bedroom is on a mezzanine level, accessed via spiral steps. Three excellent pubs within walking distance, great walks close by (forest and canal)

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

The barn is approximately 215 years old and situated in an English cottage garden on the doorstep of Woburn Abbey with lots of gorgeous walks in the beautiful countryside. The Abbey entrance gate is 0.3 miles away, you can walk through the deer park & extensive grounds. A public footpath takes you to the Elephant house & beyond. We are on the route of the famous Greensand Ridge & boast a lovely local pub the "Rose & Crown", serving good British food.
