The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Castello Di Proceno was a great place to stay in the peace and quiet. You are well away from the hustle and bustle and will need transport to explore. The history is quite interesting. The furnishing and decor is very retro but still very comfortable. Cecilia is an amazing woman, both a wealth of information and very warm and friendly. She speaks Italian, French and English fluently. The staff are also friendly and helpful. The restaurant is set in idyllic garden (weather permitting) for standard prices. Breakfast is the included and tasty. A tour of the Castello is recommended.

Beautiful place! Charming cottage, nice room (a little cramped, but we were 3 people, and it is designed more for 2), and this view - amazing! In addition, the host took care of good cosmetics, welcome chocolates and a really well-equipped kitchen. A wonderful place for a quiet time!

What a lovely property and host! Andrea was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour of the home and answered any questions we had before leaving us to enjoy the wonderful property. He even sent us restaurant recommendations which turned out to be amazing. The property itself is picturesque and almost felt unreal. My family was in awe and couldn’t stop mentioning how it was the nicest part of our trip (which we stayed in multiple places throughout). It was impeccably clean without a single speck of dust present. The furnishings were all perfectly picked and each added charm to the home. The rooms were cozy and all had wonderful views. We almost didn’t even notice the weather was gloomy the few days we were there because of how much we enjoyed the home itself. I can only imagine when it’s sunny and warm! Thank you for everything Andrea. We definitely plan to come back!
