Our stay at Emma & James’ “Unk’s House” in Bohol was absolutely amazing! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home was perfect for our family of 12. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to the beach and shops. Emma & James were incredibly helpful, assisting with anything we needed and offering great local tips. The staff was courteous and accommodating, even helping our family cook a few dinners. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The entire experience felt like a dream getaway. We truly felt at home and so well taken care of. We’re already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend Unk’s House for families or groups looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay in Bohol!

Staying at Wander Nest was amazing! My whole family and I loved it! The place was beautiful, they had a good number of options for the included breakfast - which tasted so good, they had a van and a tuktuk that helped us get around to the closer areas, and most importantly the people that worked there were very genuine at helping us and making our stay wonderful and worthwhile! If you needed things or areas to be cleaned up, they will gladly do so! They also gave amazing reccomendations and offered numerous help. Our stay was as delightful as we hoped! The place itself was neat and comfortable for all of us. If you’re in Bohol, it will definitely be a great option to stay here, especially for bigger groups! Looking forward to when we get a chance to visit Bohol again!

Roberto was fantastic—allowing us an early check-in made a huge difference for our large group with staggered flight times. It gave us a chance to settle in comfortably and even host a mini conference on the second floor. The amenities were on point too; everything worked perfectly from the water supply to the bidets. Plus, having Yuki around—a friendly and helpful pup—was a delightful bonus. The staff went the extra mile by assisting with meal orders and setting up plates and utensils. Highly recommend this stay!

The hosts were friendly,accommodating and gracious. We felt right at home from the time we set foot. They prepared the house and meals on time. Impeccable service! We were particularly impressed when the hosts satisfied our cravings of ceviche. They went the extra mile to secure fresh fish and turned it into a delicious meal. All the basic needs were served without any reminders. We are giving the place and the host 5 stars. Highly recommended for big groups and small. Rest assured you will be attended to properly.

The place is awesome and the host is nice. I just would like to make some suggestion for updating some information on your listing like having corkage for bringing drinks but everything was so great staying on this place. Looking forward to stay again here. Thank you!

You can expect a very peaceful and tranquil environment, that is both safe and secure. Not somewhere I would stay long term unless you just want a pool holiday, in which case you will love it. The pool is fabulous and clean. Thers lotsof shops nearby , but nowhere decent to eat apart from street BBQ or bars for that matter. But the restaurant food is excellent and reasonable prices. I used it as a go-between beach venues, closer to the airport, and for that it is perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that they do not accept cards cash only.

This place is scenic, great view of the beach and the island across. The house is super clean with four bedrooms - each with own t/b. Clean sheets and towels are provided. Even the kitchen is fully equipped. The House of Nature is indeed a wonderful place to stay. For me, this place is a SUPERHOST. To Ms Emie, daghang salamat Ma’am.. I had a fantastic stay at Che’s place! The room was exactly as described in the listing—beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. It had a cozy and stylish atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The privacy was a huge plus, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay without any disturbances. The host was also very responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place that matches the photos and offers a quiet retreat, I highly recommend staying here!

Stefan is very friendly and very hands on with the guests. There are a lot of tourists in the island of the time so it's quite busy but Stefan and his team really did their best to assist us with our requests. The host and the listing is recommended 100%.

The place exceeded our expectations. The staff were able to accommodate our needs, the host was friendly, and the place itself had a great view.

Alles völlig in Ordnung und wie beschrieben. Wir wurden sehr liebenswürdig empfangen und uns wurde sogar noch etwas zum Essen besorgt, obwohl es schon ziemlich spät war. Da wir völlig durchnässt und auch etwas verschnupft ankamen, haben wir auf Anfrage sofort zusätzliche Laken zum Zudecken erhalten. Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden! Auch die ruhige Lage und die kurze Entfernung zur Halbinsel Anda mit wirklich weißen Stränden ist empfehlenswert.

Brenda und Monet sind ein unglaublich zuvorkommendes und herzliches Ehepaar. Sie hat sich schon vor der Ankunft um alles für mich gekümmert und Veranlasst, dass ich sicher ankomme und alle meine Aktivitäten erleben konnte. Es gab sogar ein leckeres traditionelles Mittagessen von Ihr. Vor dem Haus, 5 Meter entfernt ist ein kleiner Strandabschnitt. Monet, Ihr Mann ist früher viel fischen gegangen und hat einige Geschichten zu erzählen. Würde jederzeit wieder dorthin. Hoffentlich ergibt sich das!! Die Unterkunft ist natürlich auch super gewesen. Fällt aber trotz ihrer super Lage und gemütlich hinter die tolle Gegenwart von den tollen Gastgebern. ❤️ Vielen Dank für alles!! 🙏

Mein zwar kurzer aber wirklich toller Aufenthalt bei Cherry hat mir sehr gut gefallen! Das Zimmer ist super grosszügig und das Bad sauber und schön. Cherry war unglaublich lieb und hat mich wunderbar umsorgt. :) Ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau wirklich sehr wohl und wilkommen gefühlt und es war für mich der perfekte Abschluss meiner Reise. Für längere Aufenthalte würde ich eine Rollermiete empfehlen. Ich hoffe ich kann eines Tages wieder kommen! ^^

Fantastique ! Nous avons adoré chaque minute dans ce havre de paix, perché sur une colline avec une vue imprenable, un calme absolu, une piscine à débordement et un jacuzzi avec vue sur mer le jour, ciel étoilé la nuit. Le scooter a louer est confortable et puissant, parfait pour explorer Bohol en toute liberté. Conduire ici est facile, bien plus pratique qu’en voiture vu l’état des routes. La salle de bain extérieure est atypique, mais agréable. Quelques insectes, peu de moustiques, rien de gênant. Déconnexion totale mais avec un Wi-Fi rapide, idéal pour travailler. Eliza nous a accueillis chaleureusement à l’aéroport, et Ding, toujours souriante, nous a régalés de plats frais et délicieux. Les échanges avec eux sur la vie locale ont été précieux. Les animaux sont discrets et adorables. Un séjour parfait que nous recommandons les yeux fermés, et où nous retournerons avec grand plaisir !

I can't say enough about this stay! Truly a wonderful experience from a warm hearted host and very friendly family! Also the room itself had everything you need at a good value. They also have a motorbike to rent which makes it a convenient option. Santa Fe town is extremely close only a 3 minute ride or 15 minute walk from the place. I would recommend this to anyone as it's a great local Filipino experience and in a cooler spot in town then the town in my opinion. I plan to stay here again the next time I visit Bantayan! My stay was truly delightful! The house exudes an exceptional sense of privacy, creating an idyllic retreat. Lorna's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was a charming experience, homemade flavors that added a personal touch to each morning. The fast internet was a wonderful bonus, perfect for staying connected, while the innovative Wi-Fi light switches and abundance of electrical sockets ensured convenience at every turn. I highly recommend this lovely escape for anyone seeking comfort and tranquility!

My friend and I arrived late at night due to ferry delays, and Jim and Arlene had been so friendly and responsive throughout our whole journey from Cebu to their place. They booked us a tuktuk from the ferry port and made sure we found the driver and that we were safe and comfortable. They welcomed us with a big smile and prepared snacks for us, because they knew we had a long day. We felt right at home, truly. Definitely will come back! Jim and Arlene — thank you so much!
