Our stay at Emma & James’ “Unk’s House” in Bohol was absolutely amazing! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home was perfect for our family of 12. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to the beach and shops. Emma & James were incredibly helpful, assisting with anything we needed and offering great local tips. The staff was courteous and accommodating, even helping our family cook a few dinners. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The entire experience felt like a dream getaway. We truly felt at home and so well taken care of. We’re already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend Unk’s House for families or groups looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay in Bohol!

Staying at Wander Nest was amazing! My whole family and I loved it! The place was beautiful, they had a good number of options for the included breakfast - which tasted so good, they had a van and a tuktuk that helped us get around to the closer areas, and most importantly the people that worked there were very genuine at helping us and making our stay wonderful and worthwhile! If you needed things or areas to be cleaned up, they will gladly do so! They also gave amazing reccomendations and offered numerous help. Our stay was as delightful as we hoped! The place itself was neat and comfortable for all of us. If you’re in Bohol, it will definitely be a great option to stay here, especially for bigger groups! Looking forward to when we get a chance to visit Bohol again!

Roberto was fantastic—allowing us an early check-in made a huge difference for our large group with staggered flight times. It gave us a chance to settle in comfortably and even host a mini conference on the second floor. The amenities were on point too; everything worked perfectly from the water supply to the bidets. Plus, having Yuki around—a friendly and helpful pup—was a delightful bonus. The staff went the extra mile by assisting with meal orders and setting up plates and utensils. Highly recommend this stay!

The hosts were friendly,accommodating and gracious. We felt right at home from the time we set foot. They prepared the house and meals on time. Impeccable service! We were particularly impressed when the hosts satisfied our cravings of ceviche. They went the extra mile to secure fresh fish and turned it into a delicious meal. All the basic needs were served without any reminders. We are giving the place and the host 5 stars. Highly recommended for big groups and small. Rest assured you will be attended to properly.

The place is awesome and the host is nice. I just would like to make some suggestion for updating some information on your listing like having corkage for bringing drinks but everything was so great staying on this place. Looking forward to stay again here. Thank you!

You can expect a very peaceful and tranquil environment, that is both safe and secure. Not somewhere I would stay long term unless you just want a pool holiday, in which case you will love it. The pool is fabulous and clean. Thers lotsof shops nearby , but nowhere decent to eat apart from street BBQ or bars for that matter. But the restaurant food is excellent and reasonable prices. I used it as a go-between beach venues, closer to the airport, and for that it is perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that they do not accept cards cash only.

This place is scenic, great view of the beach and the island across. The house is super clean with four bedrooms - each with own t/b. Clean sheets and towels are provided. Even the kitchen is fully equipped. The House of Nature is indeed a wonderful place to stay. For me, this place is a SUPERHOST. To Ms Emie, daghang salamat Ma’am.. I had a fantastic stay at Che’s place! The room was exactly as described in the listing—beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. It had a cozy and stylish atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The privacy was a huge plus, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay without any disturbances. The host was also very responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place that matches the photos and offers a quiet retreat, I highly recommend staying here!

Stefan is very friendly and very hands on with the guests. There are a lot of tourists in the island of the time so it's quite busy but Stefan and his team really did their best to assist us with our requests. The host and the listing is recommended 100%.

The place exceeded our expectations. The staff were able to accommodate our needs, the host was friendly, and the place itself had a great view.

The place is very quiet and peaceful. The staff is very responsive and always ready to help. We are very grateful for their help, to enjoy beautiful beaches. Very close by there is a very nice little restaurant with positive staff where you can eat deliciously for a very small amount. Its name is “StopOver”, so don't miss it if you are around.

Brenda and Monet are an incredibly courteous and warm couple. She took care of everything for me before I arrived and arranged for me to arrive safely and experience all my activities. There was even a delicious traditional lunch from her. In front of the house, 5 meters away is a small beach section. Monet, your husband used to go fishing a lot and has some stories to tell. Would come back there anytime. Hopefully that will happen!! The place was also great, of course. But despite its great location and coziness, it falls behind the great presence of the great hosts. ❤️ Thank you for everything!! 🙏

Fantastic! We loved every minute in this peaceful haven, perched on a hill with breathtaking views, absolute calm, an infinity pool and a hot tub with sea views during the day, starry sky at night. The scooter for rent is comfortable and powerful, perfect for exploring Bohol in complete freedom. Driving here is easy, much more convenient than by car given the road conditions. The outdoor bathroom is atypical, but pleasant. Some insects, few mosquitoes, nothing bothersome. Total disconnection but with fast Wi-Fi, ideal for working. Eliza welcomed us warmly at the airport, and Ding, always smiling, treated us to fresh and delicious dishes. The discussions with them about local life were valuable. The animals are quiet and adorable. A perfect stay that we recommend without a second thought, and where we will be happy to go back!

I can't say enough about this stay! Truly a wonderful experience from a warm hearted host and very friendly family! Also the room itself had everything you need at a good value. They also have a motorbike to rent which makes it a convenient option. Santa Fe town is extremely close only a 3 minute ride or 15 minute walk from the place. I would recommend this to anyone as it's a great local Filipino experience and in a cooler spot in town then the town in my opinion. I plan to stay here again the next time I visit Bantayan! My friend and I arrived late at night due to ferry delays, and Jim and Arlene had been so friendly and responsive throughout our whole journey from Cebu to their place. They booked us a tuktuk from the ferry port and made sure we found the driver and that we were safe and comfortable.
