Captain's House | Monte Grosso, Elba

The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Two‑room sea‑view apartment with a large terrace suitable for lunch and dinner. Behind the apartment the woods begin with trails for trekking and mountain biking. Five minutes’ walk from the beaches of Cavo, Frugoso and the hidden Cala delle Alghe. Very quiet location, with about ten private parking spaces (partly asphalt, partly gravel). Bed linen, pillowcases, towels, dish towels, etc. are not provided. The apartment is not new and shows the signs of its age, exactly as in the photos.
