This place is like a retreat!! Wonderful salt water pool and hot tub. Lovely home! High quality cotton bedding/towels, a bonus!! Loved the kitchen for meals. Owner responsive and property well maintained. We will be back!

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

What an absolutely amazing week at the most amazing house! Drew’s place was exactly as described! Pictures don’t even do it justice! It had everything we needed and more. We had a few questions during the week Andrew was quick to respond and walk us through any instructions we needed or suggestions. The guidebook when we arrived at the House was super helpful with suggestions for restaurants and other activities! The backyard was super enjoyable and the beach is extremely walkable! We did rent a golf cart, and I would suggest doing that as well for everyone because in fact everyone in the town rents a golf cart and that’s the main mode of transportation around the area. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!!

Our group of 8 had a lovely stay. The kitchen and living spaces were open, comfortable, and a great place to hang out esp. for a large group. The beds were comfortable, and the area surrounding the house was walkable and had relaxing nature. There were a couple hiccups we ran into such as the golf carts dying at 40% or the shower head light in the master being out. Other than that, our family had a fantastic stay at Scott’s place and recommend it for your trip to Bald Head!

We had a wonderful stay with our two families! It felt larger than expected and there was plenty of room for our two families and more. The kids all enjoyed the game room and the small pool in the backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to the beach. We are all hoping to stay here again!

Brenda’s place is pristine, very neat, lots of fun add ons with the pool, sauna, walking distance to great restaurants, beach front and Publix. Brenda is super responsive and saved our mini-vacay by helping us at the 9th hour! We’ll certainly come back as we loved it there especially as first time in Oak Island.

We had a great stay as always at BHI. Especially grateful for all of the little things Vacaysh had to make traveling with our 2 and 4 year olds easier. The kids wore out the bikes and scooters in the garage on the culdesac and loved taking the kayaks down to the salt marsh at high tide. The linens were amazing. Best towels I’ve ever had in a rental. Ultimately love how this rental felt like Air BnB when it just started, a direct connection to the family you’re renting from and a space that feels lived in a warm, not just a rental property with a big property management group behind it. Stef picked up my phone call on the first ring when I needed something and was easily reachable by text. Overall really pleased with the great family time and a great place to stay!

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Susan leaves very detailed instructions prior to check-in. On arrival I had a unique parking issue and Susan responded to my call within minutes with a solution. I found her friendly and proactive. I booked the Owner’s suite on the top floor and everything was neat, comfortable and clean as pictured in the listing. We had a three year-old and a one and a half year-old with us and they enjoyed the two swings on the side of the home. Market lights on the porch made for relaxing evenings after the children went down. Morning ocean views provided “entertainment” with boats and sea gulls diving for food. Publix, several restaurants and a great coffee shop all walkable from the home. I would definitely rent from Susan again.

Shore to Please absolutely lived up to its name and then some! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated the home was. Everything was fresh, and inviting. The backyard was an absolute dream for our dogs! They had the best time exploring and lounging in the spacious, secure yard. It’s such a rare find to have a pet-friendly space that’s also this gorgeous and well-kept. Every detail of the home was just perfect. Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces—everything we needed for a relaxing and luxurious stay was right at our fingertips. The hosts are very speedy with the responses, which is always wonderful! If you’re looking for a serene escape with all the comforts of home (and more), Shore to Please is the place to book. We’re already planning our next stay. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

This house is in a great location. Central to everything OKI. Very short drive to the beach. Great safe area to get out in the mornings and walk or ride a bike! The beds are very comfy! The house is clean and tidy! Very neat storage in the closets to unpack your luggage and stay awhile! They also have a fully stocked storage closet out back and allow you to use their beach gear! It was nice to not have to lug chairs down with us ! Big fenced in backyard for kids to play and run around in! Thanks for a very peaceful and comfy place to come and play and rest! This house is very reasonably priced also!

We had a great stay here and will be back. Comfortable and very clean. Just like the pictures. Well-stocked kitchen. My dog loved the fenced backyard. The fencing was in good shape and had no holes, so it was a safe yard for my small puppy. Although the house is close enough to the beach to walk, we drove to the beach every day and had no trouble finding parking since there are spots at each beach access point. When a minor issue popped up at the house, Scott responded immediately and got it taken care of right away. Great communication throughout the process. Thanks, Scott!

Carrie was very clear in her instructions of how to check -in and check-out. The Ca-Sea-Ta was a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Carrie has set this place up so you feel like you're at home. It is a very relaxing place to stay. It is a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was such a refreshing and lovely place to get all the sand off before going into the spacious apartment. They had all the beach items you'll need. It was great to have a washer/dryer so we could come home with clean clothes.(I hate coming home from vacation to have to do laundry!) The Ca-Sea-Ta was the perfect get away!

Our stay at Spotted by the Sea in Oak Island was fantastic. The home's cozy design and thoughtful layout made it a perfect retreat for our family. With three bedrooms and additional sleeping arrangements, there was ample space for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The beach, was just a short 7-min walk. It made it convenient for us to enjoy the ocean without the hassle of parking. The home's location was also ideal, with grocery stores and local restaurants just a short drive away. We appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, Spotted by the Sea offered a serene and comfortable base for our beach vacation.

I had an amazing stay at this beach rental house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of fun in the sun. Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids had a great time! You truly can't beat the location of walking directly onto the beach. The neighborhood and section of the beach is quite quiet and perfect for a family vacation.

Beautifully furnished beach home with enough space to easily enjoy a wonderful family get together. Kitchen is nicely accessorized- for cooking in -and many restaurants are close enough to walk to. Beach is just a short walk away. And if you need something the grocery store is conveniently located across the street. We totally enjoyed our stay.!!

Great value, location, clean rental, accommodating and responsive host! We really enjoyed getting our family together at OKI thanks to Gina’s place. It’s is really well done with plenty of additions where Gina goes above and beyond to make it a great stay - the waffle maker, mix and maple syrup was a nice little touch.

This was our second time staying here and we had a great time! Our two boys did not want to leave! We love the house and the location is a quick 2 minute walk to the beach. Dana is an excellent host and is very quick to respond. We look forward to coming back again!

Michelle's place was great! A quite neighborhood, that is walking distance to the beach, park, restaurants and grocery store. The house has a great layout, modern, clean easy to find. Michelle was responsive throughout our entire stay and had great recommendations listed in welcome binder. Thank you for a great stay!

Stephen’s place was absolutely incredible. Located literally 53 steps to the beach. When it was too windy to sit on the beach, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the view from there. The house had everything you can imagine and more. The decor was “tastefully beachy”. Everything looked new- not random used stuff thrown together. Even the kitchen cabinets were organized and in order. As a host, Stephen went above what he was expected to do! We will certainly rent from him again!

It smelt amazing upon walking in! Gave it more of a home feel. Everything was super clean! Loved the extra touch of toothbrushes/toothpaste. All the little things made our week great. Easy beach access topped off our stay and I would highly recommend this place!

This beautiful home was exactly what I needed for a short get-away! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, had lots of little extras, such as K-cups, a beach wagon, and laundry pods. It was close by the beach as well. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. I hated to leave! I would highly recommend Dave and Jennifer’s place to anyone.
