Welcome to De Bloemenschuur! 🌻🌷🌹 This renovated bulb barn in the dune area of Heemskerk offers comfort and tranquility. You will find everything close by: the cozy village of Heemskerk with shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of forest and dunes, near the sea and beach. There are also beautiful cycling routes. From Castricum train station (5 km), you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes. Alkmaar and Haarlem are also nearby. We would like to welcome you to our vacation house! 🔆

The ceiling height upstairs is 1.30 m (4 ft 3 in)! Double bed 1.80x2.20cm. Rain shower/toilet. Not suitable for children. No pets. Smoking is not allowed.

Our place is a great hub to explore Amsterdam and its surroundings, like Zandvoort beach and charming Haarlem. Cozy and peaceful, the garden suite is a perfect place to relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

Bicycles is also available on site at your own risk.

The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. It is next to the owners house, but offers a lot of privacy. The cottage has a nice terrace that overflows into the garden.

Walking distance from the beach, the dunes and the terraces The shopping street is 500 meters away, and the Dekamarkt is always open early at 7 a.m. with delicious hot sandwiches! The bus stop is also close, so a pleasant day trip to Alkmaar is always fun.
