House vacation rentals in Castricum

We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping the ordinary. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a nice stay. Very pleasantly welcomed….Everything nice and clean and tidy. Lots of private and a nice garden at your disposal. Close to downtown , restaurants and shops The 2nd bedroom, outside to reach, was a bit small compared to the master bedroom.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

We had a wonderful time at Wenja's beautiful beach house. It was so lovingly and chicly furnished, the kitchen fully equipped. The description of the apartment is absolutely accurate. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and the sauna afterwards was a treat. In a few minutes, you will be on the beautiful beach with nice beach bar. (It may be worth mentioning that one section is a dog beach. So many friendly dogs are a huge pleasure for our children. ) From the apartment it is only a few minutes by car to the shopping center in the village and many attractions (e.g. Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, etc.) can be reached in 20-40 minutes. We had a wonderful stay in Castricum - Frank is a lovely and attentive host and was on hand to answer any questions and give recommendations for food and drink nearby. Castricum is a great hub to get to lots of places nearby (Haarlem, Alkmaar, Amsterdam) and the beach is fairly close too!

We felt very comfortable and a bit like at home. The house is very spacious and lovingly furnished. It had everything, the kitchen was sensational, since we also cooked. The place has everything you need. The location of the house with the proximity to the sea and to Amsterdam is great. The family's cat greeted us and we took her into our hearts. However, if someone is not good with cats or is allergic, Selfa should address this beforehand. We would come back back.

Jaron and Jill were very nice hosts. We had an issue with the drain and Jaron took care of it right away. Parking was possible right outside the door. The furnishings are tasteful and the terrace has great evening sun! The town of Limmen doesn't have much, but at least a good supermarket and bakery within walking distance and the surrounding area is great! We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

This was such a great airbnb I truly don’t really have any dislikes. It’s not directly in the city more on the very outskirts of it so you need to either drive or take the train. The train is about a 5 minute walk from the house and it’s easy to navigate. The space itself was clean and beautiful, Mike and Mike left recommendations and had basically every amenity you would need! Great find for a great price!

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

Communication was always fast, clear and warm – we felt immediately welcome. The place was spotlessly clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need – even small extras like coffee, tea and local tips were thought of. It was clear that Nannij attaches great importance to providing her guests with a pleasant and relaxing stay. We felt completely comfortable and at home. The dream of a vacation rental. Perfectly located on the dune reserve, this house impresses with aesthetic furnishings, generosity and optimal amenities. We just felt super comfortable. There was nothing missing. A large garden with grill, well equipped kitchen, nice living and sauna area made the stay perfect. Christiane is a warm host and extremely friendly. Communication with her was easy and fast. We especially liked the high quality bedding and the comfortable beds. I would book the house again and again when in the area. Great recommendation!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

A very nice home in a quiet park and ideal with children! The accommodation is near the playground... Our children were delighted. Easy access, good communication, everything you need is present in the small house! 3 bedrooms and bikes available! Perfect and thank you!
