This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Situated on crystal clear water, you will find peace and fun for the whole family here in both summer and winter. Explore the natural surroundings by boat, bike or on foot. After barbecuing, paddle a round on your SUP through the beautiful villa district and watch the sunset from the water. In the winter, you can sit comfortably with your hot chocolate by the fireplace and play board games. At the end of the day, you can flop down satisfied in the hanging chair in the sunny conservatory.

We are devoted to our tiny house at the Vinkeveense Plassen. We like to share our beautiful place, which is why we occasionally rent out our tiny house, "Waar geluk ligt" We have decorated it ourselves to make it as comfortable as possible. We find life in a small space with a lot of outside space to give a free feeling. Especially with the Vinkeveense Plassen in front of us. Er even romantisch tussenuit aan de waterkant met uitzicht op voorbij varende boten op een heerlijk plekje. Je kunt hier zwemmen! Met de alle gemakken zoals: een riante buiten keuken met een wasbak, oven, koelkast en 2 pits kookplaat. Een prive badkamer, gevulde minibar, koffie en thee, 1 heerlijk 2 persoons bed (180breedx240lang) en je eigen tuin! De badkamer is voorzien van alle gemakken met onder andere vloerverwarming, een stortdouche, wasbak en toilet. Clamping in Holland!

Two bedrooms, one mezzazine, sleeps 6 people. Please note the mezzazine has a steep ladder. We prefer to host families or people with reviews. 30 minute drive to Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaandam. Closer are Edam, Volendam and Marken.

The house is designed perfectly with big windows that brings all the green feeling inside and allow you to enjoy and relax in nature.
