The house enjoys a rare and enchanting view of the Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata, ensuring maximum privacy. The interiors mirror the charm of the Tuscan style, with antique furniture and finishes made by local artisans. It is equipped with a double bedroom, a large living room with a big table, a fully equipped kitchenette, a double sofa bed in front of the fireplace, in the living room. Outside, the patio will allow you to eat with the colors of the sunset as a backdrop.

The accommodation consists of a small stone house on two levels with an outdoor stone patio and is located on the top of a hill completely covered with woods. A short private white road ( 500m) leads from the paved road to the house. The building was designed by the owner, who is an architect, and is built according to the most recent anti-seismic regulations and according to the principles of bio-architecture. The house is actually a near zero energy building (Nzeb).

If you like a good walk you can walk up the hill to Cortona (you need to be pretty fit though!) or drive up, park in the free car park in town and walk back, the sunsets are breathtaking. The road to the house is a "strada bianca" a white road, although it's a narrow country road, all types of cars will be able to drive to the house.

Lang’s Lakehouse is in a unique location, being one of a handful of properties on the banks of Lake Trasimeno, Italy’s fourth largest lake. The property sleeps five upstairs. Directly in front of the property is a large grassed terrace, perfect for relaxation or entertaining. Visitors can swim, paddleboard or fish from the front of the property and even cook pizzas in their own pizza oven.
