House vacation rentals in Carson City

The house was clean and we felt right at home.

What a wonderful stay our family had. The location gave us western vibes, complete with the horse farm neighborhood. We felt like we were visiting a favorite relative's home. The backyard was beautiful with the sagebrush. The grandkids loved the playground area, turning it into their own pirate ship and treasure hunt. We would love to stay again.

Our stay was memorable. The house was near sightseeing, historical sites, cute shops, and places to eat and drink. The house was very well kept, clean, and warm inside. Having a fully functional kitchen was a bonus. We had fun playing with stock board games (Connect 4). At the elevation where the house sits, we enjoyed seeing so many stars at night. We enjoyed watching little quails walking around the yard. The weather was great. We got to enjoy Virginia City's Memorial Day parade. It was a whole different world up there. We are thankful for this opportunity.

Ty was a great host. The place was overall clean and mostly matched the description. He was very responsive and provided us with quick answers whenever we needed. The place was spacious and well decored. I would probably come back here if i am visiting Tahoe.

Merlin’s place was perfect for a quick overnight stop on our way home. It was probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The views were beautiful and my two year old loved watching the horses and chickens! Would definitely recommend to people traveling through Reno.

We had the best stay at Kristen and Jami’s cute little cottage. It was exactly as described and exuded even more charm than the photos. We traveled with our dog and she enjoyed the little fenced in yard. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed at an Airbnb that was more comfortable and homey than this “Little Blue House”. We loved the warm messages we received from Kristen way before we checked in, and also enjoyed the welcoming flowers and beverages left on the table when we arrived. It made our stay all the more special. Unlike other rentals, Kristen wants your experience to be as carefree as possible which was evident by her hospitality and easy checkout procedures. (Just leave the key - that’s it!). No one does that! It was awesome! She also made several recommendations on dining and fun things to do while we were there. We definitely had the best time. We have 4 girls and two of them were graduating at UNR the same weekend and your home fit us all wonderfully. We loved the huge open common living room/kitchen/dining room where we could all enjoy each others company. We were so happy to have a fun backyard with a hot tub, BBQ, large table, fire pit and lots of extra seating! And it backed up to a park! This has been a tradition to give each girl a fun college graduation get together and this home checked all the boxes! Absolutely pristine home! Thank you, Wendy B

Wow what a great cabin for families! We all had our private areas which is great with little ones. Tons of amenities and things to do around the home. Was fully stocked, updated and very clean. All together one or the best rentals I’ve stayed at! Highly recommend :)

Great location for access to both South Lake Tahoe and Hope Valley. Comfortable lodging, well-equipped kitchen and the hot tub is a big plus.

This a beautiful home in the perfect location! Had a girls trip weekend and it was so close to everything we could possibly need. Comfortable beds, great gathering areas, and a whole bunch of fun! Would book again if we are ever back in the Tahoe area!

We had a great time at Diana's! A very short drive away from Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe. The home was well equipped and it had a great open living room for us to all hang out in. We would definitely come back!

Wonderful place to stay. Lots to do indoors even with the winter storm. He thought of every detail to the place, every space is utilized well in the house. They thought of everything, there are additional space heaters and cooling units in the house. It is a peaceful place. The kids loved it and want to come back. We plan to come back again.

Visited Toby’s place for a weekend ski trip in April. Highly recommend. Location was excellent—only 10 min to Heavenly gondola and close to restaurants and bars. Home was spacious (2 bedrooms), had a full kitchen, was very clean. Toby was communicative and check in and check out was easy

Paul and Amy have done a fantastic job at curating a cozy and welcoming feeling to this home. The house is filled with cute decorations and perfect amenities. Outside of the full-stop kitchen appliances, large hot tub and wood-burning fireplace, their sound system was a huge hit! Everything was top notch. Not to mention, they are extremely friendly and kind hosts. Anyone would be lucky to enjoy time at their place.

We loved our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s. The cabin exceeded all expectations. The home had everything we needed including very comfortable beds, outdoor games, well stocked kitchen and fire pit we used each night for smores. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it was clean and serviced while we were there. Our 2 year old begged to not leave and we didn’t want to either. Thank you for hosting our very special family vacay.

This was a beautiful home. It more than comfortably fit my group of six. It was clean, spacious, easy to find, close to fun things, and very comfortable. Staying here was a blast and we’d definitely stay here again!

It’s a lovely house with an N64 and a pool table, I would recommend booking directly on the website personally.

Ally was great to work with, very responsive and friendly. The place was exactly as I expected and looked just like the photos. I had not originally booked this spot, I had reserved another place owned by the same host, but when it unexpectedly needed repairs, Ally upgraded me to this condo at no extra charge. So while it wasn't what I had expected originally, it was still very nice. That bed is SO comfortable! It was very quiet and peaceful, and it had everything I needed. I had come to do a writing retreat for myself, so I didn't really leave much or go sightseeing or anything, but I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Tahoe or ski. And I'd definitely book again if the opportunity arose!

The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental.
