Vacation rentals with lake access in Caribbean Sea

The house and pool were even better than the pictures! Such a beautiful place to stay and in a lovely, quiet gated community. Everything was perfect. Leticia is a fantastic host, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and beyond. We would definitely recommend staying here. Definitely helpful to have a car to explore as the villa is a few km out of Valladolid

Jacqui es una persona muy amable y se ve que se esfuerza por mantener la casa bonita y muy amena. Nos permitió entrar desde temprano lo cual nos ahorró medio día , fue un gran gesto. La casa es muy acogedora se siente muy familiar, tiene juegos de mesa, libros, información de Bacalar, todos los insumos de cocina necesarios. El balcón con hamacas con vista al lago es muy cómodo.m, tiene un teclado para tocarlo ahí mismo. En el muelle del lago hay todo lo necesario : 3 kayaks, 1 paddle board , 1 tapete flotante, chalecos, remos, etc. Nos quedamos 3 días pero nos hubiera encantado quedarnos varias semanas. Sin duda regresaré. Estaría increíble que hiciera una plataforma de 3 metros para saltar al cenote de la bruja ya que sería muy divertido.

We had an incredible stay at Isabel & Abdiel’s place - it’s spectacular and the pictures do not do it justice. The rooftop terrace is phenomenal, but so are the bedrooms, bathrooms the kitchen and the balconies. You can watch the world pass by on the first floor balcony or enjoy silence and views upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, and the best part is how amazing Isabel & Abdiel are. They’re beyond thoughtful, accommodating, and just super nice. We can’t wait to come back!

The photos in the listing do not do this place justice. The view from the patio/terrace is truly breathtaking. The inside is okay, kind of dreary and could use a paint job, but the insane view makes this place a destination in itself. Felipe has a special piece of property perfectly situated looking into a big valley of the lush rain forest. Seriously we changed plans and chose to spend more time at the Airbnb just to enjoy sitting on that patio with the view. If you want to feel like you’re in nature and a little isolated come here. It is stunning.

Sylvia's home was just perfect for our sisters getaway. 3br/ 3bath and a great living area to gather. The decks overlooking the ocean were perfect for morning coffee and cocktails by pool (overlooking the ocean) were splendid. Local concierges and housekeepers Maribel and Jose couldn't be more responsive and helpful. It was a wonderful stay.

It’s hard to put into words what an amazing trip we had and how much this wonderful place contributed to that. It was quiet, private, and even had a private beach within walking distance. Everything you needed for cooking was in the kitchen, and the rooms are nicely separated for privacy. Our favorite part was Soldier, our island dog, who loved to walk us to the beach every day and was waiting for us when we woke up. The location of this place was great and that it is close to grocery shopping, the airport and some cute restaurants. We will definitely plan to visit again. Great place with great hosts!

La atención de Gaby fue espectacular, nos ayudó en todo momento a solucionar cualquier duda o necesidad que tuviéramos durante el alojamiento. Ella y Dafne fueron de gran ayuda. El plus… Orión! Que jugó un rato con nuestro hijo. Un alojamiento con mucho espacio para relajarse, descansar y disfrutar

Jose was an amazing host. Very accommodating, allowed early check in and late check out. The house is as described and looks like the pictures (the exterior of the house is now green). My family had an amazing time and we would recommend the Lake House Villa. The pool was great! A/C works great. I would highly recommend putting on some bug spray when outside in the gazebo. We asked for some fishing poles and within 2 hours they were at the house getting them out for us. Everything really was amazing. We did not really spend to much time in the surrounding area, visited the local bakery and that was okay. It was a great experience for my family 😊

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—close to a variety of tours, great places to eat, and local attractions. One of our favorite spots, El Salto (the rope swing), was just a 5-minute walk away! The space itself was cozy, comfortable, and very welcoming. We especially enjoyed spotting hummingbirds around the property and catching views of the volcano on clear days—such a treat! Everything about our stay was incredible. The only small note is that the place provides two body towels, which may be a bit limiting for longer stays. It’s also helpful to bring your own quick-dry towels for excursions, as the provided ones aren’t allowed outside the property. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back!

Ocean Orchid was absolutely amazing. My family (wife, 4 y/o and 3 mos old), plus grandparents, stayed here for a full week. Nearby beach is super peaceful (like no one ever) and great for little kids. The backyard pool and sandpit was a big hit with our oldest, who just couldn't get enough of the table in the water and the big boat. Won't lie, I had fun watching the fish from the infinity pool. Karen was a wonderful host. Went above and beyond A+ hospitality. Upon arrival, there were some great snacks. She even went out and got us some super soft linens and an infant bath chair for our baby. All in all, would highly recommend staying here. Great location if you want to be away from the hussle and bussle, but still 15-20 minute to anything on the island, clean and always cool inside. Views were great from the decks (yes, two decks). If this is available during your travels, don't hesitate.

Heather’s place is perfection. We explored the whole island and agreed—there’s nowhere else we would have rather stayed. Comfortable bed, dreamy hammock, perfect location. We used the beach gear and outdoor shower every day and walked to Black Flamingo coffee with the neighbor dogs each morning. I’d live here if I could! Alfonso was also incredibly kind and helpful with food and beach recs. Light sleeper note: Pack an eye mask and earplugs for the early-morning rooster roll call—it’s a thing across the island and not specific to this place.

Totally awesome for 6 people. Would recommend 10/10. Comfy place.

Loved everything about this airbnb! It looks just liked the photos with perfect views off the balcony. The host herself was so helpful always quick to respond to messages and even gave us recommendations to visit. The place was close to so much we were able to walk along condado easily. Close to restaurants 5-10 min away. Ubers were easy to get. The place was clean and provided lots of amenities like water plates and shampoo/ Conditioner. I’d book the airbnb again 100%

My stay at Pat’s was truly one to remember. Me and my partner spent our one year anniversary in such a memorable way and I am glad that we chose our stay where we did. The condominium was greatly kept pristine along with having a communicative host that made my entire trip even more better. She provided us with all the essentials to have a very comfortable stay. Great rental in a vacation club with pool and small beach. Only a short car ride from plenty of non-hotel amenities. We had a lovely time!

Flexible on allowing an early check-in. Everything was exactly like pictures. Great location allowing us to walk to several locations as well as easy access to Uber. Great view from the balcony. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend and reserve again. Thank you! Michelle and I loved it and felt very safe. We had an awesome stay!!

The hubby and I absolutely loved our stay! We loved the privacy and beauty of this place. We enjoyed watching sunrises from the palapa and star gazing on our balcony at night. This place oozes charm and I was so sad to leave.

My daughter and her boyfriend were there for a bike ride ride. The location was perfect for proximity to the ride and a great environment to relax following a strenuous day! There was a slight mix up with rooms, but it was quickly resolved for everyone. And, my daughter loved the replacement digs (pets included!) Kees is extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. We highly recommend him and his accommodations.

Beautiful 2nd floor home out in the country. Nice views from the balcony. the ac in the bedrooms work great. the main living area gets a little warm but still fine with the ceiling fan. Nella was proactive with new instructions to get to the house. My fault for not seeing them before we tried to get there from the north road that had a bridge that was closed a block from the house. easy enough getting there from the other side, just don't follow Google maps.

Mi familia y yo pasamos un fin de semana espectacular, la villa es hermosa y los servicios y atenciones de Johanny y Victor hicieron de nuestra estadía tan especial. Si. Aida volveríamos a repetir la Experiencia, la casa está muy equipada. Sugiero podar un poco las palmas para que entre un poco más de sol a la Piscina ya que el agua se pone muy enfría a muy temprana hora o en su defecto ponderar ponerle un calentador al agua. Tuvimos que salirnos pronto. Muchas gracias por todo

We had a wonderful stay. The place is more beautiful than the pictures depicted. Very peaceful and private. We swam in the pool every day. It was ideal for our toddler. Lots of animals and wildlife surrounding the cottage. Comfortable bedding. Full kitchen. Close to everything in town. Great value. Would stay here again.

Great getaway - Beautiful mix of having your own getaway where you are completely alone but if you want into town and enjoy the amazing town of Cayey (which has one the best Plazas in Puerto Rico on the weekends) you can in 20 minutes. Jerry was a great host!

Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en casa de Sandra. Me encanta que es muy bonita la casa y acogedora. El lugar como siempre encantador porque estábamos en la montaña con el clima fresco y alejado del bullicio de estar en la ciudad. Mis hijos peludos les encanto el gran patio y lo que más me gusta para ellos es que esta totalmente cercado. Al alojarse ahí tienes muchas opciones de ir a ríos, cascadas y miradores. Lo recomiendo 100%
