Beautiful! Pristine. I can’t recommend the home enough. We enjoyed 2 nights here and definitely would return. A peaceful hidden gem that provided us with everything we needed

We had such a lovely time staying at Ingrid’s house. The bungalow on the water was really cute and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid was a wonderful host. We snorkeled every day and went to town a couple of times for lunch and to purchase some groceries. We cooked every day so stock up on supplies. There are staples in the cabin like basic spices and oil. Such a peaceful and picturesque spot. We hope to be back soon.

We were 3 adults and we were all so excited with the house. So warm and beautiful with a very friendly host!clean and very lovely. It was a bit far from the town (25min walk) so we had the privacy we needed.Totally recommend it for an affordable option on such a fancy place!!

I loved it, it is my second time and I would come back a thousand more times it is very quiet a place where you forget everything and you share with your family and amifos, the most incredible thing is to cook watching the waves of the sea recommended 🙏

I spent a month here. We felt at home right away. Exceptionally clean, everything you need in the kitchen, lots of towels and access to laundry on site for free. Walking distance to town or beaches, easy to hail taxis and close to bus stop. Beautiful sunsets everyday. Al and Urania were always available by phone or in person to help with any questions. Wifi and smart tv . Kayaks available to use on the bay. Highly recommend staying here.

My stay at Poli's stunning Bocas house was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, laid back accommodations, and the tranquil beauty of being right over the crystal-clear Caribbean waters. The house itself has a beautiful island style design, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and ceiling fans. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals with an unbeatable ocean view. The highlight? Waking up to the sound of gentle waves beneath us and stepping out onto the private deck to watch the sunset. Snorkeling with colorful fish right off the deck was a dream. Poli's place is perfectly situated with a the ideal balance of seclusion and convenience. We were just a short boat ride away from lively Bocas Town and Star Beach Poli was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay.

A quiet paradise over the water. The only sounds were birds and waves, and the occasional boat passing by. Connect to the ocean and nature day and night by watching birds and fish and bats right from your dinner table. If you're looking for some peace and quiet - this is the place for you!

I always dreamed of a place like this! Beautiful cenote, everything for kayaking, there are vests for swimming, beautiful pier for sunbathing. Delicious breakfast, thanks to Lupita for her kindness and recommendations

This is a great place right on the water. Hosts Naomi and Jason were amazing and having access to communicate with them is super helpful. Similar response to other reviews, the house is loud. Anyone staying in the lower 2 bedrooms can hear all the footsteps. It wasn't a particular issue for my group but its def something to note. The house is located in the "quiet" end of town. Everything is just a short walk away but you are away from the madness. There is now construction next door that does begin at 8am. Again, not something of concern for our group but prob important to know for the next few months as the homes are being built right next door. Great stay, beautiful location close to anything you need. And amazing hosts!!

Excellent place, Katie offers a place to stay that is ideal for getting to know Golfito and having a lot of contact with the sea. The experience of being on a houseboat is very pleasant and allows you to observe fish and the dynamics of the gulf in general Despite being floating, the tides in Golfito are super calm, so there are times when you don't notice the movement at all. Katie's service was always very attentive, so the stay flows very well. We highly recommend this place.

Olivier and Sylvie are gracious and kind hosts. Their property is beautiful and the location so relaxing. The food is outstanding. It's fabulous place to spend a few days disconnected.

The place is beautiful. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Marigot bay the whole time. There’s not a lot of great food options, all with the same, fairly limited menu. The local food is the best option - jerk chicken, stews, etc, but even those are not as good as the rest of the island. This place is only accessible by boat - you need what’s app to get on and off the cabin to get food. The beach is walking distance and there’s some food and beverages served when you get chairs during the day. The hike along the property (Billy goat trail) is stunning. It’s really very very beautiful, but it’s not a great place to see the island. Also being a sound machine - sound travels across the water and it can be fairly loud.

Most beautiful airbnb we have had the opportunity to stay at! The views were incredible. We specifically wanted a place on the water, as well as a place with multiple paddle boards (except we ended up taking the kayaks instead due to the waves, which were so much fun!). The bed was clean and comfortable. The a/c blows directly at you but it’s still better than overheating all night. And we couldn’t set our expectations too high from a hut on water. The dock was cool to walk out to and relax. The bikes were also a huge pro to go bike to a restaurant (Mr Taco for cheap tacos, and La Playita for great food and drinks on the water—both amazing!!) the hosts also allowed us to keep our car in the gate with our belongings until we finished an excursion which was so helpful. We definitely wish we had more than one night in Bacalar because it was definitely our vibe!

This is a one of a kind Airbnb! It’s right on the water and has beautiful deck to watch the sunset. The kayak was a fun bonus and made for great adventure to the floating bar. The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious with hot water. The mini fridge was helpful to have and though we mostly ate out, the little outdoor kitchen space was great to have as an option. It’s walking distance from the ferry/the main part of town with restaurants and shops. The hosts gave us helpful recommendations for where to eat, about the water taxis, and even helped us launch the kayak into the water. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it!
