We had an incredible stay at Ocean Breeze! Jerri was so informative, helpful, and responsive. George and Mabel made us feel like family and ensured we had everything we needed. Definitely have Mabel and Sami cook for you! We loved being able to walk right off the pier in front of the house and snorkel every day- the reef is fantastic. It was great having the Reefhouse right next door as well. The house is well stocked, laid out well, AC in the bedrooms is cool, and the view is stunning. Just for awareness, we are a large family and the extra bedrooms are in an apartment-style down a path behind the house. It is close by, but a couple of our kids had to sleep over there and that might not work for everyone. Also the house is 45 min at least from West Bay, but we actually preferred the location of the house to the more touristy side of the island. Everyone we met was so kind, we were well cared for, and we had a great mix of fun and relaxation. Thank you!

Loved this he place! Very beautiful and peaceful. Had the beach to myself! Close to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun but spent most of my time in a small fishing town called Puerto Morelos!!! Puerto Morelos was amazing with the prettiest water!

Very comfortable bed ! The walk to the beach through the private path only takes about 6 minutes - make sure you take note of where you come out. I had a hard time finding the path again on the other side due to dune vegetation growth.

We had an amazing stay. Our room was a short, BEAUTIFUL walk to local beaches. Our room was clean and looked just like the photos. We had dinner a lovely dinner at their restaurant, the ceviche was amazing! Overall great experience!

This is our third stay at one of David’s properties which I think says it all. This is a wonderful location, sea view and near one of our favourite beaches. The apartment is spacious, airy, nicely furnished and very comfortable with a gorgeous terrace. David is a fantastic host, super helpful with lots of local recommendations and really responsive. We love this beach. It’s quiet with great snorkelling. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beach and a beer in the evening. Do check the tides as part can get closed off and do bring sea shoes to make getting in and out of the water easier. This is a such a special place. We are planning a return trip.

My family and I were so pleased with our choice. The home was very clean, lots of parking. The outdoor covered patio is perfect for rainy evenings. The pool was cleaned as soon as we got there and we enjoyed it every day. I recommend going to the home before going to the grocery store because it is well stocked. Martin even had coffee from their family and it was the best coffee we had the whole time we were in Costa Rica. The restaurant recs from Lorena were on point and delicious. I suggest staying for at least three or four days because the amount of wildlife that traverses through the property changes from day-to-day. There is a resident sloth that lives right outside the gates and we saw him three out of the five days that we were there. another sloth that we saw every morning on our walk that was about a 10 minute distance from home. So many tropical birds. We would stay here again, highly recommend. Check out was extremely easy and effortless. Also, several walkable restaurants.

Excellent location, a few minutes from downtown Tamarindo and places of interest, ideal for a group of friends or family. A whole complex for private enjoyment with friends or family

Very safe place to vacation. Getting there was a bit tricky, but once you do it once, it’s easy to get there.

This was the second time I stayed and I will certainly be back. The location is central and convenient. The views are breathtaking. The apartment feels like home. I was even able to wash my clothes before returning home which was very convenient. I was there to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday and it did not disappoint one bit.

Great place for a large family or group. Clean and spacious. Pool was awesome, especially at night with the lights. Neighborhood was quiet and private. House had plenty of beds as advertised and had AC to keep things very comfortable. Overall great stay!

A very nice place and location! The pool does have a lot of leaves on it, but it's understandable and the outdoor kitchen is well equipped, only the ants are the uncomfortable issue, the rest of the things are perfect and comfortable :)

We had a great stay at Loraine's place – it's perfect for two people. The bedroom has AC and was very comfortable. The location is excellent, especially if you rent a car, parking spot available in front of the apartment. One of our favorite parts was the lovely balcony with a beautiful sunset view and even a bathtub to relax in. The place is well-equipped with everything you might need: plenty of towels, a mobile mini fridge for beach days, a beach bag, and more thoughtful touches that made our stay easier. Overall, we definitely recommend Loraine’s place for couples looking for a cozy and well-located spot!

Our stay here was amazing… everything was right around us, and Myra was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, and stores around us.. she was very responsive with any questions we had at any point throughout the day… everything looked exactly as it showed in photos… only thing that was off was the volcanic view that was displayed in photos from the backyard… there wasn’t a view of the volcano, from the backyard, but the backyard was still a great chill spot, and beautiful for photos… absolutely loved it… would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Costa Rica to stay here.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Casa de la Reina. The Host(s)- Teya and Helana are true gems. Right from the start communication was quick, clear, and friendly. They both gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and were just genuinely nice people. The House- The house is breathtaking. The pool overlooks the jungle and we enjoyed watching monkeys swing through the trees while we swam. There are blue morpho butterflies and Iguanas in the backyard including "Stumpy" who lounges on a large stump and was adored by my kids. The house is well stocked and having access to a washer and dryer, grill, and fridge with ice maker is always appreciated. The Location- The house is down a winding gravel road, but clear instructions were provided and 4x4 was not required even during an epic rainstorm one day. We were able to drive to everywhere we wanted to go in town within 5 to 10 minutes and felt very safe at the property which has a lockable driveway gate. Thanks Teya and Helana!

Everything is very good, a very nice place

Great place for couples! Beautiful view (saw some lovely sunsets!) and outdoor space to grill, dip in the pool and relax. The space itself was clean and comfortable. Hannah lives upstairs but guests have a separate entrance and area so the space is super private! Kitchen and bathroom have all the basics you need. We separately rented Hannah’s Jeep Patriot to get around. Not 4 wheel drive but we had zero issues getting around the island to the further beaches on the rough dirt roads. Hannah was super friendly and responsive. She gave us several local recommendations. With the car rental she picked us up and dropped us off, and was very accommodating when our plans changed as we figured out the somewhat confusing ferry and flight situations.

Excellent host, responsive, accommodating, and very helpful. Definitely would use again.

Rodrigo's place was very clean and convenient, located within walking distance of several restaurants in Playa del Carmen. The laundry and beach towels were helpful for visiting the pool and beaches. The rooftop pool was also a very nice feature, and for the price we paid, it is a great value!

Awesome stay at this airbnb. It looked exactly like the pictures and all the reviews were spot on. It was private and had everything we needed. The pool was a nice touch and great to dip in. Kevin was on time and friendly. Nicole was responsive and accommodating. They offered their car for a separate rental fee which came in handy exploring the island. One of the best airbnb's I have stayed in. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thank you Nicole and Kevin!

Everything was good. The house has everything you need and was clean. The Kraken cabin is a unique house. We even had the chance to grab the Kayak for a tour :) Thanks!

This place is absolutely breath taking, the host Mathilde & Kevin were so quick and easy to respond and provided lots of great services and recommendations. Made the trip to this beautiful island so much easier to travel around. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back. The place is even more beautiful in person

What a wonderful stay. Would recommend for anyone. We stayed with our two small children and really appreciated all the amenities provided such as a travel crib and well equipped kitchen. The views are really nice and the condo is very comfortable. The pool is also wonderful, we spent much of our time there. It was nice having the convenience of restaurants and coffee right across the street. We would love to return.
