House vacation rentals in Caribbean Sea

Beautiful beaches nearby, but restaurants and shopping are sparse. Be prepared to drive to get anywhere. However, we really enjoyed getting away from it all as a girls trip. We made use of the hot tub, pool and patio. We felt safe and secure the entire time. The hosts are lovely and helpful. Was able to spot sea turtles from the overlook ...and plenty of fish! The views are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed hanging out in the cave, but did not take use of the SUPs or swimming there. Kitchen had all the essentials to make some meals. Beds are comfy, and we appreciated being able to wash towels and clothes through the week. The neighbors have dogs, which was ok as dog lovers, but we definitely got to know all their names by the end of the week. AC worked great!

Axel’s Samara home is nothing short of amazing! After a super long day of travel I was speechless walking through the door - it is even better than the pictures. This property is a great way to experience a smaller coastal Costa Rica town while still feeling like you are living in luxury. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This villa was even better than the photos depicted. Absolutely perfect in every way. Chalk Sound is a truly special place as are the nearby beaches (Sapodilla Bay, and a particular favorite was the very unique Taylor Bay Beach). A rental car for this location is a must, and the short trip to Grace Bay is very worth it (both the town and the beach). You can bring the beach chairs Terri provides or easily rent chairs and umbrellas there. Felt like a luxury hideaway, but with easy access to all of the hot spots around the island. Would give 6 stars if we could!

Amazing house, pool, and location - close to everything in Uvita, yet secluded. The pictures of the view from the deck and pool don't do it justice. The house was very clean, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this home to others.

The view is phenomenal!!! This is a great place that is secluded and peaceful! At night nature comes alive and plays a great symphony!!! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Aqua Grande. Every detail of everything we could need was thought of plus many things we didn't even know we would want (trampoline and ping pong!!). The house was beautiful and clean. The view was amazing and the furniture was so comfortable we just wanted to sit and look at the ocean all day long. Javier and Magali were so great. There were always there for anything we needed help with from a jump start to our car to cooking the most delicious dinners to doing our laundry to providing us with all the extra towels we could ever want. We highly recommend staying at Aqua Grande if you want to experience the magic of Remanso Beach!

Highlights of Our Stay *Rooftop Jacuzzi*: The stunning rooftop jacuzzi was a highlight of our stay. Imagine soaking in a warm, bubbly tub under the stars, with the vibrant city of Cartagena as your backdrop. Pure bliss! *In-House Pool*: The beautiful pool was a refreshing oasis, perfect for hot days or relaxing after exploring the city. *Charming Rooms*: Each room in Casa CoCo had its own unique atmosphere, beautifully decorated with a mix of modern and traditional touches. The air conditioning in every room was a welcome respite from the tropical heat. * The Airbnb staff at Casa CoCo were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable

My husband and I stayed here with our 18 year old son for a week and it was everything we hoped it would be. Instructions to check in couldn’t have been easier, parking in your own carport was perfection! Beds were comfortable- WiFi inside was good but an extender to outside areas would have been nice. We got great use of the beach chairs and all the beach towels they provided. We took them with us on day trips. The beach area is more for hanging out and laying out . Very relaxing but not an area you will want to get into since there is tons of vegetation. We were so happy to see a Netflix account set up on the TV and we used it every evening. One of my favorite things about this home was the large master closet and vanity area. We had so much space to organize our stuff and keep things tidy during our stay. There were a few things that needed attention when we arrived and Kate and Nick took care of it quickly!

Barbara and John were literally the kindest people in Costa Rica you could stay with. Our toddler, the biggest food critic of them all loved every food recommendation we received. He danced to the music in restaurants and was welcomed with love by locals. The home is so private, relaxing, beautifully decorated, everyone in our family felt at home here. We cooked in the kitchen and found it fully equipped and easy to cook for a group. We loved watching monkeys swaying on neighboring trees and birds singing each morning near the large deck. We slept so peacefully in their comfortable large beds every night and the space was quite large so our kiddo got to get his wiggles out. Their pool was the perfect temperature everyday and large enough you could do laps. John provided such a throughout and very legit surf lesson. Overall we LOVED this home and it was well worth the journey into this cool little surf town. - Christina

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa in Puerto Viejo war einfach unvergesslich! Die Unterkunft liegt eingebettet im tropischen Grünen und bietet absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre – ideal, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und in die entspannte Atmosphäre der Karibikküste einzutauchen. Die Villa selbst war geräumig, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir vom Außenbereich mit Pool und Hängematten – ein perfekter Ort, um zu entspannen und die Natur zu genießen. Jeden Morgen wurden wir vom Zwitschern der Vögel und gelegentlichen Brüllaffen geweckt – ein echtes Naturerlebnis! Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: nur wenige Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto ins Zentrum von Puerto Viejo und zu wunderschönen Stränden wie Playa Cocles oder Punta Uva. Trotz der Nähe zu allem fühlt man sich hier wie in einer ruhigen Oase. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, falls wir Fragen hatten oder Tipps brauchten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Un séjour exceptionnel ! Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable dans ce logement. Tout était parfait : l’endroit est magnifique, très propre, parfaitement équipé, et le jacuzzi est juste incroyable. La vue depuis la terrasse est absolument époustouflante, on ne s’en lasse pas, que ce soit au lever ou au coucher du soleil. Un véritable havre de paix, idéal pour se ressourcer. L’hôte était également très réactif. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci pour cette expérience magique !

From the moment we arrived, the staff — Lorena Luz and Alexis went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. We brought our own groceries but Lorena prepared a delicious meal with local ingredients such as fresh fish and coconut (not found in the grocery store). It was like staying at a five star resort. The staff was there in a moments notice for anything we needed. The house itself is STUNNING. Marked by simplistic architecture, purely a work of art and designed with intention. Every door and opening framed the surrounding environment beautifully. Cannot get over the access to the private beach, a splendor! Definitely a safe and secluded stay worth every penny. Would recommend to all wanting a special getaway from the bustle of a city.

Wij hebben ongeveer 1,5 mogen verblijven op Landhuis des Bouvries. Een heerlijke plek op een afgelegen locatie waar je echt tot rust kunt komen. We hebben enorm genoten van het nette en stijlvolle huis met zwembad. Alles was schoon en van gemakken voorzien. Contact met de verhuurders is heel goed verlopen. Altijd binnen en korte termijn een reactie op onze vragen of verzoeken. Deze woning is ideaal als je wilt genieten van de mooie stranden van Curacao in de omgeving en niet middenin de drukte wilt zitten. De volgende vakantie naar Curacao gaat zeker weer op deze locatie zijn. Jean Marc en Marytsa, dank voor jullie gastvrijheid!

Chloe’s place was truly something special. The view couldn’t be better—right on the water! The upstairs features a large opening to the beach that makes you feel like you’re living outdoors. It does get warm during the day, but with the fans and side windows open, you can create a pleasant airflow. The spacious bedroom downstairs was comfortable and includes a cooling system that keeps things cool at night. The mattress could use an update—it’s quite soft and you can feel the springs a bit—but we still slept well. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the utensils you might need if you plan to cook. I would definitely recommend Chloe’s place if you’re looking to enjoy island life away from the main tourist areas, while still being close to attractions and having direct access to the water!

Sarah’s place is amazing, we will definitely be back. This house has oceanfront views, a beautiful yard and a great pool to make our stay very relaxing and peaceful! We saw macaws, a variety of birds, iguanas, lizards, coati’s and a mama sloth that the kids would run and try to spot every morning. The property manager was so friendly and helpful and would crack coconuts for us and spot the sloth when we couldn’t find her. Sarah would check in and see if we needed anything. She has a book at the house with wonderful recommendations of things to do in the area and places to visit that were reasonably close! We ate at Coquito’s frequently. They are the nicest restaurant owners with amazing food! We loved swimming in the pool and ocean every day. We enjoyed our daily beach strolls and didn’t feel like leaving much because of how peaceful and quiet Zancudo is, especially at Sarah’s place! I can’t say enough good things about this place, especially if you are looking for a relaxing getaway!

This is such a beautiful, comfortable, and clean home with wonderful views. We spent 6 nights exploring Atenas, and this home is convenient to town and several other attractions. The hostess has a book for guests with great suggestions for what to do and see while in Atenas.

Truly a stunning home! You will not be disappointed booking this villa. The home looks and feels luxurious. Key amenities include high-quality bedding, plush bath towels, and thoughtful lighting. You will appreciate every detail of the design and decor. Wayne and Mark were amazing hosts. They were always available anytime I had a question. Mark even offered to cook a traditional Jamaican dinner for my mom and I which was delicious! As for local attractions, you have Galina Lighthouse, White River, Duns River Falls, Dolphin Cove, and Mystic Mountain. I didn’t drive but it was very easy to get a taxi from the main road which is a short walk from the villa. Look for red plates to identify a taxi. It is also very easy to uber or “charter a taxi”and they will pick you up/ drop you off right at the gate to the villa. This will not be my last stay at OD’s Oasis.

We had a great stay at the house. Everything was there as stated on the listing - super beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. Coral Estate is safe and has some great restaurants, the pool and access to the beach. We came with 6 year old twins and it was perfect for them as well, the pool, the smart tv, and great spaces to do coloring and chill.

El espacio es muy bonito. La piscina es hermosa y la vista es increíble, es mejor que en las fotos. Todo súper bien
