Clear instructions from Jerome on how to get there. The pool was a great view. Although it's a public pool no other guests were ever there. Nearby beach clubs and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay!

This was such an amazing experience. Was a little hard to find but once we did we could see why, it is private and made us feel safer. The loud music from the cars was a bit much but that is part of the experience. The locals and shops in town were fun and friendly. Perfect for a couple and perfect if you want to explore the jungle of the island. I will warn people that the roads are very narrow and were a little scary to drive but if you just go slow and stay alert and don’t drive the road at night you will be fine. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had the best stay at this charming cottage. The location was perfect, private and peaceful, with stunning views and just a short walk to the beach. The cottage itself was cozy with a rustic, antique feel, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers that added to the relaxing atmosphere. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable, and overall the space felt ideal for nature lovers looking for a serene getaway.

10/10 recommend staying at Casa Curre. While you see the amazing views and mountain cabin in the pictures, what you don’t see (yet) is that this is the BEST host you will ever get. Erick was immediately responsive and helped us book cost-friendly, fun excursions not just in Monteverde, but ALL OVER our Costa Rica. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and so helpful he helped us inflate our tires upon arrival when they looked low. Truly amazing service!! The kitchen may look small but the hot plate and air fryer allowed us to cook 3 meals a day for a family of four, no complaints. Loved having extra towels - we didn’t have that at any other Airbnb. Of course we appreciate AC in the bedrooms and TVs with Netflix. The mosquito net on outdoor jacuzzi tub was VERY helpful! Some bugs get in the home (as expected), but I can see they spray for bugs and have spray available- no problem. Easy route/road to the home, just minor steep driveway. Truly a great home and Costa Rica experience.

This place was amazing the views in the morning were incredible breathtaking. This place was perfect for a getaway felt right at home and Jose was very responsive . I highly recommend this place very clean and private

A week in Pura Vida.  Casa Aracari is a great combination of Tico and modern style and amenities.  Very comfortable, with large windows which makes the living area light and airy, and gives a pleasant view of Vulcan Poas which was puffing steam during our stay.  Our trip was during the rainy season, so things were ... humid (as expected).  There is no air conditioning, but a bit of adjusting of the screened windows and doors gave light breezes through the house, so totally comfortable.  The only issue we ran into was after one particularly strong thunderstorm, the power was out and the electrically powered driveway gate wouldn't open (can happen anywhere, so you just deal with it).  This was quickly and efficiently remedied with a text to Diana.  The Jacuzzi was welcoming on cool evenings after long days of sight seeing.  All in all, our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and this was a great retreat and base from which to explore the Atenas region.    Highly recommended.

This is an incredible place to stay. Off the beaten track, up in the tropical rainforest it feels very special. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The host is super friendly and her local help team (she was overseas during our stay) were fantastic. Recommend hiring a 4WD as the roads are tricky in places, but don’t let that put you off if you really fancy an adventure in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We would definitely recommend it.

Excelente lugar para ir en familia y pasar unos días rodeados de la naturaleza y la tranquilidad, fuera del bullicio del área turística, pero a su vez lo suficientemente cerca para visitar todos los lugares turísticos de La Fortuna. Leonardo es un host muy servicial y amable. Estuvo siempre disponible. Recomiendo este lugar y en definitiva volveré.

The hubby and I absolutely loved our stay! We loved the privacy and beauty of this place. We enjoyed watching sunrises from the palapa and star gazing on our balcony at night. This place oozes charm and I was so sad to leave.

Das Haus ist ein Traum !!! Es liegt in einem herrlichen Garten und ist trotzdem nur 1 min zu Fuß vom Meer entfernt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß, ruhig und top ausgestattet. Es gibt zum Beispiel Kayaks, Kinder Sandspielzeug, Yogamatten, Regenschirme (was durchaus praktisch war), viele spiele und Bücher, sogar Lego, Waschmaschine, Trockner (was auch durchaus praktisch war 😉) und die Küche hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Auch gibts tolle Gadgets, wie Holztische und Bänke die man wegklappen kann. So nehmen sie kein Platz innen weg, doch wenn’s regnet und man Platz braucht hat man schnell einen großen Esstisch… usw… Steve ist ein super Gastgeber, hat uns klasse empfangen und uns viele Tipps, Telefonnummern und Empfehlungen gegeben. Wir haben auch einen halben Tag mit einem Bekannten von ihm eine private Tour zu Verschiedenen Zielen gemacht was wir 100% weiter empfehlen können ! Vielen Dank nochmal für alles !!! Ich hoffe wir können irgendwann wieder kommen. Grüße an Niña…

We had a great stay. The location is close to everything and just a few steps to the beach. Fantastic!

Wonderful house, perfect setting. Private garden with direct access to the beach and next to nice restaurants. At the front there is roar of the town and traffic, but it’s tranquil enough at the back. People who look for 100% peace and whiteness may want to look further. However it was perfect for us and probably for many people.

We had an excellent stay at Wilfredo’s place for the 2nd time. The location is perfect if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city living. The views are spectacular. The nights are perfect. The air is fresh. Great local food downtown. Highly recommend Pueblo Viejo Gastrobar. The home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Wilfredo was very responsive and quickly (within minutes) resolved a minor issue. We encourage everyone to visit Wilfredo’s place and experience mountain living in Utuado.

Great stay. Exceeded our expectations. Perfect place to stay if you can manage the steep steps, aren’t bothered by the nature occasionally entering the space, and don’t mind warm nights/mornings. Incredible views and really comfortable and private. Definitely would come back in the future.

We will NEVER stay at a hotel in Aruba ever again after this experience... this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful and made our time in Aruba so enjoyable. The location is remote and has stunning views. We had a AWD that was able to off-road on the path behind the Airbnb which had amazing 360 views of the island. We watched 2 beautiful sunsets there. The unit is technically connected to 2 others but designed so that each is completely private. We had a slight issue with hot water when we first arrived but it was literally taken care of immediately and the host was so responsive every time. The amenities were the best - cooler, beach chairs, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs, and even an air pump we requested to help us with pool floats! The pool is much bigger than I thought from pictures and so comfortable after long days at the beach. We can't wait to return! Thanks for everything!

I can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb!From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views. The poolside bar was the heart of our stay: relaxing with a cocktail in hand while gazing over the hills and ocean was pure paradise. What really made this place stand out, though, was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, offering local tips, arranging transportation, and always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it truly elevated our entire experience. If you’re looking for a place that’s both luxurious and welcoming, with unforgettable views and a vibe that’s both relaxing and energizing, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a beautiful stay at Bella Vista, overlooking Charlotteville. Hearing the waves and birds, made for a relaxing atmosphere. The place was really great, we enjoyed the chilled environment and had everything that was needed for our stay!

This was our second stay at Heriberto’s casita. It has everything you need, from the privacy of the country with beautiful views from the pool, to the quick and easy access to food, beaches, and towns nearby. The location is perfect. I loved returning to our quiet getaway to take a dip in the pool after being out and about all day. This place is perfect for couples or a single traveler. Thanks for a great stay, Heriberto!

Casa Oceanside is a little slice of heaven. Waking up to howler monkeys in the morning, sitting on the deck watching parrots, macaws, monkeys, and more birds than you can count. Walks in the beautiful garden or hiking in the forest. Sitting or walking on the beach watching the sunrise and the surf. All right on the property. It is a great place to stay, unplug and unwind. We didn’t have to go see wildlife, it came to us. Michelle and Eddy are fantastic hosts. They had great recommendations on things to do, local places to eat, and lots of information on the local plants and animals. They are warm, personable and readily available if you have questions, but respect your privacy as well. We’ve been home less than a day and we miss it already.

I wanted a nice, tranquil trip to unwind & relax. This home is so cute & the area is very quiet! All neighbors were very respectful! I initially got lost, but the host(s) were in constant communication with me & made me feel safe! I stepped into the backyard & laid in the sun for hours without a care in the world the whole time I was there! Great location, about 20/25 minutes away from certain clubs, if you’re into nightlife & a nice 15/20 drive to Secret Beach. 10/10!

Carol and Ademar are by far the best Airbnb hosts we’ve ever experienced. They’ve done a wonderful job of making Casa Victoria a home away from home, stocking the house with amenities and keeping the house and grounds in excellent condition. They home is clean, comfortable, private and offers stunning scenery. Our first day we saw a family of monkeys in the trees by the pool. Later that day, Ademar and Carol stopped by to show us a sloth in a tree on the property. At our request, Ademar (a professional chef) came by one night to teach our family how to make tortillas the Costa Rican way. Ademar has chickens and gave us fresh organic eggs during our stay. He also offered to show my children the chickens, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Ademar and Carol were very helpful and responsive to us, even calling a doctor at La Farmacia in town when my son was feeling under the weather. The home offers privacy and serenity while being only 15-20 minutes to La Fortuna attractions.
