Apartment vacation rentals in Carcassonne

We had a great few days staying at Chris’s place - really beautiful flat with lots of space and a brilliant terrace, near a gorgeous square and easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Carcassonne, excellent air con in the 35+ degree heat! Couldn’t recommend more.

Modern, spacious apartment within walking distance of the center of Carcassonne. We received clear instructions to get inside, and nice tips for the city. Highly recommendable!

This is probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and I mean it. I was so surprised at how wonderful everything was and far beyond any expectations I had. The space was amazing. Fred and Delf have put a lot of dedication and hard work into renovating this historical building and making it comfortable for guests. The building itself is beautiful and historical. Also the views of the gardens and castle are amazing! Carcassonne is also such a beautiful and charming town I plan to vome back to. Fred and Delf were just extremely kind in an autgentic way. They were very friendly, and always made sure I had everything I needed and enjoying the stay. I would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Carcassonne. It truly was a great experience.

It’s a fantastic apartment and Maria is so friendly

The space is conveniently arranged and has a beautiful interior. Everything you need is there. Pleasant spacious balcony. And of course the big plus: walking distance to the castle and the old town. Down the street are nice eateries. We found the traffic in front of the apartment a bit busy, but inside you can hardly hear it.

Functional apartment, we particularly appreciated the location in the city center, the parking space and the air conditioning (it was 36° in Carcassonne!!)

We loved the central location. It was easy to jump on the shuttle to the apartment. Loads of good restaurants, very responsive and patient host. One of the few apartments on Airbnb with a terrace with a panoramic view. Always nice to receive a complimentary bottle of fizz and the extension of check out time very much appreciated.

Fantastic apartment in a great location on Place Carnot, brilliant value for money! Even though the apartment is located on a busy square the noise does not travel up to the apartment and once the doors are closed it blocks any noise out. The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment which is great for privacy. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for breakfast, taking in the atmosphere of Place Carnot but in the comfort of your own space! The Carrefour shop is right below the apartment which is very convenient. Central location to walk around Carcassonne. We had to message Manuel a few times and he was always very quick to respond. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, great apartment!

You walk out the door and literally walk up a path to the citadel. Hosts are great communicators. Welcomed us with home baked muffins, milk, tea and coffee! Apartment is dean and has everything we needed and more for our short stay in Carcassonne. Walkable to the newer side of Carcassonne as well.

Had a great week in Florence's apartment. It is clean, cosy and well equipped. The location is great for La Cite and La Bastideand the train station is a 15 minute walk. Florence very helpful and responsive. I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend it. Thanks Florence!

We loved staying at Eric's place. It was a very well presented apartment in an excellent location within Carcassonne - just a short walk to the main square, with plenty of resturant options. Eric was an excellent host, who was very responsive throughout our stay. We had a great time - thank you.

Sophie and Ben are wonderful hosts - very friendly, nice and caring. The communication with them was very fast and easy. Ben met us with a big smile, helped to carry the suitcases and ensured us that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed, it is the best apartment we recently stayed at in the past few months while traveling in France! Centrally located in front of Cité de Carcassonne, yet very quiet, it decorated with love and gives homely feeling, the bed is super comfortable and there are orthopedic pillows for perfect rest, well equipped kitchen, big balcony and the powerful aircon that saved us from the heat wave. We can highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the beautiful city of Carcassonne.

Beautiful apartment in a great location near landmarks and restaurants etc. Apartment was furnished well and had everything needed for a short break. Was a little noisy early Saturday morning as the market was setting up. Would stay there again.

Very nice appartment with very good AC. just a short walk to the castle and to a very good price. No complaints or problems at all.

Very nice location in the heart of Carcassonne, which is much nicer to visit early morning or late evening - with less crowds. The apartment is nicely appointed and had everything we needed.

This has to be the best Airbnb we have stayed in. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Phil had provided lots of little touches like the plasters in the bathrooms, the milk in the fridge and pastries. Plus, France is in the middle of a heatwave and Phil had the fans and cooling going so we arrived to a cool apartment after a long day travelling to get to Carcassonne. The apartment has everything you need and is very conveniently situated. If we come back to the region, we will absolutely stay again. Highly recommend

Fantastic apartment! It is in a great location, very close to the town and 20 mins walk to the castle. The apartment was spacious and clean, with great amenities. And Steve was a great host, responding to any questions we had! 100% recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous apartment with private terrace very centrally located. Had loads of character with everything supplied. Only few minutes walk from main square surrounded by restaurants and supermarket. Absolutely loved it and will highly recommend it to our friends. Marie was extremely responsive and friendly and I appreciated her assistance.
