Waterfront vacation rentals in Cambridgeshire

I had a fantastic stay at Fleur’s flat in St. Neots. It is in the perfect location. It is in the heart of the town, less than a minute's walk to Market Square. You can walk to everything… restaurants, shops, cafes, park, marina, train station, etc.. The apartment was as described, and the photos were accurate. It was very clean. Clean linens and towels were provided. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. The common space might be tight if you have 4 people, but not an issue. Check-in and check-out were very simple. I was given good instructions and the keys were left in a convenient lockbox. Communication with Fleur was very efficient. This was only my fourth experience using Airbnb, but I would say by far my best experience. I highly recommend this space if you want to be in St. Neots. I hope to stay here again someday. Very nicely decorated apartment, well located right next to the park and the river, and 10 minutes from the historic center. Very nice and responsive host. Small downsides: the apartment (number 7) is located near a fairly busy road especially in the morning (and that can be heard). Blinds also let in a lot of light. Otherwise it was perfect, it's the kind of place that makes you want to come back! A little extra: you will benefit from discounts at the pub opposite on the Cam(super pub), and from the company that makes cruises (opposite also, to be done).

We loved this spacious flat by the river side. It was very handy for everthing we wanted to do in Peterborough. Had the weather been warmer, we would have used the outside patio/balcony. Would defintely want to say here again if we were in Peterborough.

Exactly as described and shown in the photos, super clean and new, really nice flat, excellent location by the pond and opposite the Granta. Easy communication with host.

Stayed here for a week. Had a lovely stay, beautiful surroundings, place was really clean and organised when I arrived. Met Steve and Kim a few times and they were really friendly and great to chat with, and they made sure that I knew I could ask for anything that I needed. Very pleasant stay, would stay here again for sure

Very clean, light and airy studio apartment in a great location. Ten minutes walk across the meadow into the centre of Cambridge. Several decent restaurants and a riverside pub in the immediate vicinity - Sala Thong thai was particular good. Apartment was exactly as described and entry/departure instructions were clear. Great to have free private parking.

We had a lovely long weekend away in Stamford, staying in Lily Pad. It was perfect; everything from the location of the property, the view, everything that the flat is. We’re already planning our return trip!

My son and I stayed the night before attending a big airshow at Duxford, it was nice to be close by so we could enjoy a full day there. Didn't try any of the pubs in the area but we drove 10 mins to Sawston and there were lots of takeaways for dinner. The apartment is easy to find (use the full address on Google maps) and super private with good parking. The apartment is upstairs and very spacious. All the essentials and some complementary breakfast items which are a nice addition. Great communication from Helen too, thank you for a nice stay.

We loved our stay in this lovely house. The house itself is comfortable, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The location is wonderful: extremely quiet and relaxing yet close to Stamford. It was extremely hot so we spent most of our stay outside in the fantastic grounds, observing wildlife including deer, red kite, hares playing and even a baby badger digging and foraging. We look forward to coming again, with our dogs next time!

I hosted a training for our organisation at Cowlinge Hall and we all had a wonderful time. From arrival, Emily had gone above an beyond leaving us two bottles of Prosecco and homemade brownies (which were SO good!). The luxurious space made for really nice down time between our sessions of work! Our caterers really enjoyed using the kitchen - which had everything they needed to provide us wonderful meals during the week (the caterers came with us, and weren't connected to the Hall). Our team enjoyed walks in the afternoon, around the property or on the quieter roads around the area - the countryside adding much to our sense of tranquility and atmosphere. We made good use of the fire place and ample firewood supplied. We definitely want to return for future events as it was a joyful location to live and work for a week! Emily was very responsive through out our stay if we had a question about something. Thanks so very much for everything - we'll be back!

We had a great family getaway! The house was really spacious, clean and cozy. Lots of room for the kids to spread out with a huge garden to burn off all their excess energy. We grabbed fish and chips from Rav’s, ‘highly recommend’ and even managed a little canoeing at Marmont (highlight of our trip). The cottage was full of character with stylish decor and a great kitchen/diner for evening meals. A well equipped garden with a trampoline and sandpit which delighted the kids. There was also a comfy covered BBQ area great for being outdoors in the British inclement weather. Thank you Matt for a memory-making stay. We will be staying longer next time. ❤️❤️

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

Hen weekend with a group of 12, the bride wanted a house with a hot tub for a chilled weekend and being right beside the lake was an extra surprise for her. All 12 of us really did have a fantastic weekend with some lovely memories made for the bride to be 🥰 the house is lovely and has beautiful surroundings. Thank you Yolanda for accommodating us for the weekend it was everything that the bride to be wanted 🤗 Think we will all miss the 🦢 family mum/dad and their 5 baby’s came to see us every morning and evening 🥰

A really lovely lodge in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It was so well equipped; had everything you could possibly need and more - the welcome basket and additional extras were very thoughtful and made such a difference. The owner was incredibly helpful with excellent communication and everything was exactly as described. We hope to return next time we visit family in the area and would highly recommend.

A beautiful place to stay, bed is really comfy & lovely kitchen & sitting area. The woodland walks seem to have a healing energy with lots of places to sit & relax. Melanie was wonderful & went over & above to help us out. Highly recommend & look forward to coming back again.

Excellent location, perfect for a few days and probably longer, very helpful and responsive host. Good location for walking to bars, restaurants, local stores and also enjoyable walking, running options along the river and nearby parks . Perfectly good ammeities and fittings in the unit. Will definitely consider this again on future visits.

My daughters had a lovely stay at Fleur’s property. It was a great base for them over the Christmas holidays. Having a Christmas Tree made it feel like a home and they will happily return. Thank you so much for your kindness and Happy New Year!

This is a beautifully presented apartment. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and with lovely riverside views. It’s about a 20 min walk to the pub in the village and about 25 mins into St. Neots, where there’s a wide choice of shops and restaurants. If you’re feeling lazy though there’s a very good Chinese restaurant that delivers! Overall I would find it very hard to fault anything about the place. If I had to try, there’s one (very tiny) difficulty if you happen to have a larger-than-average car, in that the parking spaces are relatively tight to get into, and require some very careful reversing. To be fair though, my car is just over 1.9m wide (according to Google) which is a fair bit bigger than average, and it did fit, but I was slightly nervous the first time! In summary though, it really felt like a beautiful home-from-home and I’d happily stay there again whenever I get the chance.

Lovely flat, relaxing location and quiet on the riverside of the flat, slightly noisy on the street side until the early hours due to the town centre location, not an issue if cool enough to have the windows closed however. Location for town centre really good, restaurants, cafe Nero, Costa M&S and Waitrose all a 2 minute walk away, including bus stop for trips into Cambridge/Bedford. The Flat itself was a complete home from home had everything i needed during my stay. Communication from Fleur was really good. Would absolutely book again when visiting friends in the area.
