Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cambridge

We had an amazing stay here celebrating my partners birthday, the house is absolutely stunning (one of the few places that are actually better than what the pictures show) and the location is so peaceful. Russell was very communicative and was happy to answer any questions we had. Really recommend!

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

Really enjoyed our stay at Cherie's house. We couldn't fault the cleaning and everything was in very good condition (although the shower was a little bit temperamental but ultimately worked). Great kitchen. It's big plus is the location in relation to Cambridge centre. You can walk to the end of the road, cross a bridge and then it's 2 lovely parks to the city centre. Cherie was responsive and helpful. We visited on a nice weekend in May but I'd say the bedrooms are quite warm. Thank you, Cherie. We'd definitely come back.

We (family of 4) had a lovely stay in Sara's house. The house is in a lovely location, with a gorgeous view. Sara was very helpful throughout, in particular helping us with bits and pieces for our baby.

Lovely house with good sized rooms and ample facilities. Clean and tidy with a full complement of bedding and towels. Loads of on site parking. Would definitely recommend. Would be good for a couples get together as well as a family visit. Perfect location for the wedding we all attended.

John was very responsive and helpful- he kindly supplied BBQ equipment for our stay so that we could enjoy the patio area. There is a booklet John has put together with details of local history and recommendations. A few thoughtful drinks and snacks were waiting for us when we arrived and John was very clear in his instructions on accessing the property, so that went smoothly. Sadly we weren't around when John knocked to introduce himself, but the whole weekend was very enjoyable and peaceful. Would recommend. Very clean and homely.

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

Cosy twin room, with ensuite, and compact kitchen. Everything was as described and suited us perfectly when visiting friends. Clear communication, and easy to access on arrival.

Had the most amazing stay with Paul who was amazing from start to finish, was very attentive, went the extra mile with every little detail from muffins, fresh croissants, fresh juices and beverages, highest quality hand gel, shampoo etc. even had a love heart in rose petals on the bed this has definitely been my best experience through air bnb and would be back again, would highly recommend. Tami's place was exactly as described and a gem. Everything was there that you needed as well as extras of the pool table, games, books and music. Bed was really comfortable, great location along the river. Tami kept in communication and respo ded quickly. would definitely recommend and go back again.

Literally the perfect place for a weekend getaway — hot tub, bbq, and firepit - plus a walk to a good pub nearby. Had an amazing time and all went very smoothly. Will definitely be coming back!

A much desired peaceful and also very spacious escape

We had a really nice time here. our children loved playing in the garden and watching the rabbits. the place was perfectly clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking. thank you!

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! An absolutely delightful Airbnb - a cabin in a lovely garden behind the owners' thatched cottage - quiet and secluded, and in a pretty village. The interior, of one large room en suite, is well laid out and tastefully decorated and furnished. Fresh flowers, and homemade flapjacks and elderflower cordial on arrival, were a nice touch. My wife and I are unfamiliar with Essex and were pleasantly surprised by the villages and surrounding countryside. We regret not staying longer to see more of the county. Next time perhaps!

Lovely cabin in a very spacious, private setting. Cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Especially enjoyed relaxing in the illuminated dome in the evening, even while the rain poured outside! Only stayed overnight, and chosen for its proximity to a number of nature reserves we were visiting, but ideally located for touring the three county area.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins! Easy instructions to find, and ample parking. Beautiful landscaping around the pod cabins, and although there were others, it felt very secluded and private. Very quiet and loved hearing the horses and birds. The wood fired hot tub was AMAZING and was the perfect place to catch up with friends. BBQ made for easy dining and we were able to sit out on the patio. Small inside (for 4 people) but perfectly formed and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved our stay and hope to return!

We had a wonderful time at the Bothy! The location was beautiful with views over the vineyard and countryside. The Bothy had everything we needed, with great attention to detail. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and couldn’t recommended this stay enough! A perfect bank holiday get away from London. We enjoyed walking in the local countryside and even went on a day trip to Cambridge which was really easy- we just got the park and ride which is about 50 mins away. Thank you for having us :) we will be back!
