Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cambridge

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay! The home was warm, spotless, and ideally situated. Everything we needed was just a short distance away. It truly made our visit smooth and enjoyable. Philip’s apartment was better than expected. Very clean and large. Great value for a roomy 3 bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed the walkability of the location because we just left our car parked in the lot behind the apartment and walked or took the T everywhere. It was also nice to have a Whole Foods down the street and top notch coffee and ice cream only a few blocks away. Philip’s place was probably the nicest Airbnb that we’ve stayed in. Thanks, Philip, for a great family visit to Boston!

Zazy and George were amazing hosts and communication was extremely easy. The space was great, and it was a very cute top floor. We had a great trip!

The apartment was exactly as described. The location was convenient and easy to Uber from or walk. We would definitely stay there again.

Priscilla‘s place was wonderful and exactly as described. She greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was to enjoy our stay. My mother and I loved waking up to the sound of birds outside and looking at the beautiful scenery. It was very cozy despite the unusually chilly spring weather. I hope I get a chance to stay there again next time I’m in the area.

Frank and Nina’s place is such a gem in Belmont! The backyard garden is especially beautiful for summer nights! Nina and Frank are also really friendly, communicative and accommodating! The place is very warm and clean. Highly recommend!

Overall, a wonderful AirBnB. The enclosed porch was perfect for our family gathering, as the rainy weather moved us indoors. Walking distances to town and bike paths were accurate. We loved the space and the very comfortable furniture and accommodations. Eileen and Sam were excellent hosts and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip. Thank you. Jim & Tara

Excellent visit to this refitted barn which is now a multi-level home. Our stay was made even better by the hosts. Scott and Heather live on site and were always available for travel advice and local recommendations. Kids loved the backyard swing. The bus stop is at the end of the block and connects directly to the 'T' making public transit easy. Several restaurants are walking distance in downtown Arlington.

We had a lovely stay as a family at Ann’s place in Cambridge. The location is fantastic - at the heart of everything in Cambridge, about a 3 min walk to the T station, and so close to many restaurants. The home is well equipped and we had everything we needed. The Nespresso machine with pods was a great touch!

This is our second stay with our pup and we all loved every minute of it. Ellen is a gracious and welcoming host. Highly recommend!

Excellent emplacement pour profiter de Boston, station à moins de 15 min à pied et accès rapide au centre de Boston. Logement confortable, propre, calme, et bien équipé. Et enfin, très bonne communication avec Claudia, très disponible et compréhensive quand nous avons rencontré un bug lors du paiement !

How friendly and welcoming! We were greeted by both Mike and his mother from their own spaces upon arrival. The home is so cute and charmingly historic from the exterior and the same way on the interior. The home was very well-stocked with extra thought as to what guests might need or want, and the space was great for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The garden/ yard was beautiful with flowers galore and pretty lighting at night. What a great experience!

Edgar was a great host. His home is comfortable and very clean. The entire place was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed and awesome pillows were amazing after a day of exploring in Salem. There are two great restaurants close by.

The place felt like home and was the perfect amount of space for 4 people. All amenities worked as they should and meeting Susan on the first night was a plus. Figuring out the T was super easy and the house is within walking distance from multiple stations. Overall, great experience for a multi day trip and would highly recommend for people who are looking to travel into the city without wanting to drive or uber.

Had a wonderful stay with my friends in Boston. The rooms and living spaces were very comfortable and clean. Michelle was very reachable and responded quickly. Would recommend this home to anyone.

Thomas and Jenny’s airbnb was a great and spacious place to decompress after a family event and enjoy the riverview and the birds-including swans and their cygnets! The kitchen has anything you could possibly need for cooking if you were there for a longer stay. The house is awesome-wood floors and high ceilings and plenty of couch space and a dining room. We didn’t use the back deck due to the weather, but it would be a nice place to relax on a sunny day. Also, the king bed was extremely comfortable! The location was convenient for us to walk to visit Moody Street (less than a mile) but the house is tucked in next to an office park so there is not as much of a neighborhood feel in the immediate area-but the river views out back and the comfort of the home more than make up for that! Thomas and Jenny responded right away to our questions. They are strict with how many people can visit during the day (no more than 4) to keep noise down for their neighbors. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay. Gerard responded quickly to any messages and was very helpful. The apartment was located in a great area, close to where we wanted to be and was very comfortably furnished with great amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet. Street parking was good as it was a long weekend but during the week would be difficult. There is a good parking garage a short walk away which would be a good alternative. The instructions for check in/out were easy. Will definitely stay here again when in Charlestown!!

Our stay in Lionsgate cabin in Cohasset was heavenly abode for a week during our stay in the last week of May. The cabin is located in peaceful surroundings with beautiful bird watching areas. The bird feeder outside our cabin kept me and my toddler daughter occupied throughout our stay here. The lawn areas and seating outside are great areas to take a stroll and listen to nature’s music. The cabin is comfortable and cozy with enough provided even for a long stay. It is located within short travel distance from many good restaurants, grocery shops and metro. Very close to the beach, we visited Nantasket and Hull many times during our stay. We loved our stay here and will stay here again. Highly recommend this cabin.

Erin's place is so cozy and homey! We felt right at home. Super comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, living room with large TV, bathtub, beautiful artwork throughout, and very convenient for walking all around Cambridge and over to Boston. Our family of four fully enjoyed our two-day stay, and Erin was incredibly sweet, allowing us to store our bags early in the morning and giving us lots of good suggestions for things to see and do. A short walk to Harvard. Extremely quiet and dark at night. We'd definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Berta’s AirBnB. The home had more room than I expected from the description. Berta was flexible with my check in needs and responsive throughout the stay. The neighborhood was highly walkable to shops and conveniently located to Harvard’s campus. The kitchen and rooms were stocked with comfortable amenities. Great option for a small family.
