This place was an amazing getaway for my girlfriend and I. The setting was awesome and really made us feel like we took a step back in time to a more simple way of living. The house was great and the decor inside and out was what made this place so intriguing. We stayed for 4 days and didn’t want to leave, this truly is a special place and a great atmosphere to unwind in. The owner was great and I would recommend staying here to anyone that appreciates history and the simple life of years past.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Barbara’s place. The house is one-of-a-kind, built into the rocks with a cozy and artistic vibe. Our family loved dining outdoors, surrounded by nature, and cooking in the open-air kitchen was a unique experience. The landscape is stunning — perfect for peaceful walks and exploring with our kids and even our dog! Barbara was a warm and welcoming host, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. We felt completely at home and deeply connected to the beautiful desert surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect.

The experience was incroyable due to Karin’s life mastery and magic. Building out a beautiful property with a vision of providing a warm and inviting experience through every detail takes a special person, and Karin is certainly that and more. The warmth of her person, the freedom of the vast open space of the reservoir and sky, watching her at her craft, and the therapy of simply being in a natural environment and animals was the most welcome reprieve from a busy life in south marin. Another world. And a beautiful drive in. I look forward to coming back, hopefully many times over. Exceptional.

The pool and hot tub were so dreamy! We had a great time lounging by the pool all day long. We brought an extra pop-up tent because it was nice to have extra shade near the pool in the desert sun. The dome stayed really cool and the sound-scape was a fun touch to conversations! The location allowed for really enjoying the desert and views. There were plentiful towels provided and the kitchen was well stocked. Stephanie answered any questions quickly! Stephanie does not allow guests to change the number of guests by night like some airbnbs do. I share this as this is likely a common place to book for large groups, in which schedules may vary. You will have to pay for the highest number of guests present during your stay, even if the next night is much lower. So it may affect afforability. There are no pics of the inside of the trailers - they are just rooms, not set up like the original trailer format. Still nice, but dont get excited that they will be a real eclectic trailer setup.

The land in the sky is a gem! We had everything we needed and space to spare. I would 11/10 come back to stay. Know that you will be on a dirt road to get here, just like Nathan describes. And that the park is about a 25 min drive just to get to the gates. It was so, so worth it though. We captured every sunrise and sunset just by staying here. Not to mention EPIC skies at night that are truly undisturbed by any surrounding light. We did leave early for one morning hike and it all worked out perfectly. The record player skips but it still played some of the albums and really brought the place to life!

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in Palm Springs. It is spacious and has a beautiful backyard and pool. The hosts are very helpful and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at The Carriage House! The intentional thought to detail in the home is very noticeable and appreciated! We had everything we needed in the space and it was exactly as pictured and clean! Endless options of restaurants at walking distance, close to event venues, very highflying recommend staying here. I did want to note to other travelers: the listing says the property has 2 free parking spots on premises but there actually isn’t, it’s just for loading and unloading, and parking on the street is where you park. We had a bit of difficulty because there was construction going on but otherwise I wouldn’t say it was a hassle.

My kids loved the pool table and ping pong. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were large. We very much enjoyed our stay!!

It was a very whimsical place with plenty of new nature spots to walk to. If you are a camper, then I would recommend glamping here.

Had a great weekend here! Was exactly as described and shown in the listing. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Trung was responsive and checked in throughout our stay. Great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to downtown and all the places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Kelly’s place. She is the ultimate superhost and goes above and beyond with her hospitality by providing guests with fun homemade waffle mix and readily available water jugs in the fridge. She also suggested a lot of fun hikes and activities for us to do in the area during our stay, and was very warm and responsive. She really made us feel at home here! Furthermore, we enjoyed all the amenities from the electric charger to the BBQ, fire pit, hammocks, fireplace and jacuzzi. We had such a great time relaxing here that we extended our stay by a few days. Do yourself a favor and book this place—you will love it!!!

This place is a dream. Nature surrounding the house is so beautiful, wild life including fawns, squirrels or hummingbirds among many others could be easily seen around. The house is not only full equipped, it’s beautifully decorated with charm and good taste. We were looking for a place to rest and retreat, and this was definitely the perfect place. Can’t wait to get back soon.

We had such a great stay at the Hobbit House! The house was super cute and clean and the grounds were lovely to meander through. The stream was a great place to hang out with our coffee and read. We had a little trouble with our code working, but Kaci was super responsive and resolved it quickly. I’d also say that something to note is that the only bedroom that’s fully enclosed is the one with the pullout couch downstairs - the two main ones upstairs have doors but are open otherwise. The pictures in the listing absolutely show it, but I didn’t realize what I was looking at before being there (I thought the one was a mirror). It was not a problem for us and our friend group was fine, but if not everyone in your group goes to bed at the same time there’s really nowhere folks can split off to, it’s just basically all one open area. But it’s a lovely and fun open area! Keeping in mind for future trips to Sequoia and Kings!!

My whole family gathered for Thanksgiving here. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures! It was like an oasis and we found everything one needed to feel right at home. We highly recommend this stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Mesa Sky Disk. It was easy to get to and close to the main drag even though it felt insanely private. Inside and out it was a beautiful property. Great linens and pillows as well as a fully stocked kitchenette.
