Great find, very friendly staff. The restaurant was nice and tasty. The park was spread out enough feel private but close enough to walk around.

Stayed in Caboose 26 & really envied it! The views of the mountains are every bit as beautiful in person as in the photos. The dining car was a great surprise - they have live music every day at 5:30, and quite an extensive and good menu. Overall really impressed with this place!

Toot Toot! We were all aboard with this amazing stay!! What a fun little dream come true to spend a night in an actual caboose! The interior was stunning with all its woodwork and having coffee in the cupola was just wonderful. The attention to details such as the old photos and plaques just made it that much more of a joyful stay as you learn the history associated with the car. The grounds are also part of the experience as you walk along the stream that runs through the yard with lots to see. Even just sitting outside your car the air is filled with nostalgia and the sound of the river that runs along side the property. Listen for the frog’s!! Sadly the restaurant was closed during our stay but worked out to be a happy happenstance as we discovered one of the most amazing burger shops we have ever been to, Yaks on I-5. Be sure to try the ribs too!! If you love trains, spend a night!! We truly recommend it!! We loved it! All aboard!!

A unique and charming place to stay! The rail car was comfortable, the hosts were welcoming, and all was as described. Looking forward to coming back when the restaurant is open. A fun weekend adventure.

This was an incredible find. Great for families with kids that love trains! I appreciated that James was so responsive to our questions as we prepared for our trip. Everything was great. The goats nearby were an additional entertainment and the view from the deck was unmatched. Will Come back!

Celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday and it was a perfect stay. My son and 20 month old daughter loved watching the trains outside, in the lookout, and playing dominos. What a special place! Plenty of linens, easy communication with the host, comfortable bed, short drive to town, and Tehachapi train loop. We forgot to bring our charger for our car, but the host did say we were able to use the outdoor outlet. We can’t wait to come back!

The luxury caboose was a beautiful retreat in the Agoura Hills. Easy access to hiking and a short (beautiful!) drive to Malibu. Geraldine provided fantastic local recommendations, and went above and beyond to create a comfortable atmosphere. We would 100% return!

We rented out the whole property. It was the perfect getaway for 2 families with little children. The kids (and adults) had fun exploring the place. Even the family dog gets to enjoy the property. There was a nice common area between the train and caboose that we used to socialize and eat. I already recommended this place to a few friends. it's worth checking out.

What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. Place is as described/pictured and host was proactive in communications and the check in and check out process was a breeze!
