Vacation rentals with a beach view in California

Great location in Mission Beach, very comfortable home. Clean, wonderful! The bikes were a huge plus! Loved the place and would stay again.

We had a great stay! The place was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. Our host was incredibly informative and always quick to respond to any questions. He also gave us some great insight into the area, which really helped us make the most of our trip. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The decor was delightful! Very well outfitted with everything you need.beds super comfy. Really good size. We had more than enough room. I appreciate that Crystal saw no issue with my service dog joining us. I was a bit disappointed that you had to be on the balcony to see the beach. There was a complex in the front blocking most of the view from indoors. I also had issue with parking. The garage was only for small cars and the street parking was inconsistent and required several steps. My handicapped daughter found it a bit difficult. The area was not easily walked being on a very very steep hill. I wish there were more info in the description. All in all, it was a gorgeous place and really clean, highly recommend for non handicapped folks.

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

Very happy with Heidi and Chuck’s place. Felt like home, amazingly clean and welcoming place. The view is wonderful, ocean is near by. House has everything we needed, our room was delightful and perfectly clean, close distance to the restaurants and stunning sunsets Thank you Heidi and Chuck for your lovely Dana Point house! 😊

Melanie’s room 104 was quiet, clean, and very cozy. The location is perfect for visiting parks, Lands End, excellent restaurants, and a safe area to take walks. Melanie was quick to respond and made me feel right at home! I’ll definitely stay again when visiting this area of SF! 🙂

We loved how well-equipped the kitchen was, making it easy to cook at home after a day of exploring. The living area was spacious and inviting, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. This property was our family's favourite in their entire trip to California. The place is exactly what it looks like. It's gorgeous, well-maintained and walking distance from the beach. It has plenty of amenities too. If you plan to cook your own food, you might have to drive a little or door dash your groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay! There is everything you could possibly need for a beach stay. Pam was so helpful and had lots of good suggestions. The location was perfect. Just a block and a half from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. Bed was super comfy and the space was perfect. Didn’t use the patio much but that also was a nice addition. Will def be staying again!!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

Very clean, very much as advertised with lots of room for the family as we prepared for a local wedding. The parking was awesome as well, we had no issue with 3-4 cars as we were allowed to use the driveway and the garage. That was definitely a bonus.

“The Shack” was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at! Not a single complaint comes to mind. From the warm and welcoming hosts, Pam and Jim, to the spotless cleanliness of the Shack itself, everything exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing 10-day stay and were genuinely sad to leave—it truly felt like home. I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for a charming, cozy, and clean place to stay in the Newport Beach area!

We loved our stay at Alexandria’s place. Master bed was comfy. The location is great and the complex has a ton of amenities. It feels like you’re at a Hawaiian resort. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Bill's place! It looked just like the pictures and was very clean and well-stocked! The location was perfect and was in a very walkable area. Bill was super responsive and accommodating, and we'd definitely stay at his place again!

We enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place. It was plenty of space for 3 of us to stay. Great views. It gets a little warm at night in the bedroom without air conditioning but they do provide an extra fan which helps. Overall, the space was great and we would recommend to others.

What an AMAZING place! Desiree has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay perfect. Our contact/host (Shannon) was he best - she communicated with us every step of the way to be sure our stay was seamless. She met us at the place and gave us all the details. Bigger Fish is a dream location but the house itself is set up beautifully - to the crisp clean linens and dreamy beds, the very clean floors bathrooms and well stocked kitchen, lovely decor, and really amazing upper deck - this place has it all. We will be back!!

We had a fabulous time at Anissa’s place. The apartment was perfectly located with an amazing view of the ocean from the living room. The restaurants are within 15-20 min walking distance and we liked the fact that the windansea area is more residential and less touristy. The apartment does require blinds to be used for privacy as it is right on the road within eye level and these need some repair.

Loved this condo, great location. Very clean and accommodating would definitely stay here again.

This place was like a dream! It was the most beautiful location. When the tide came it, it looked like we were in a boat when we looked out the massive windows. We had the beach to ourselves and the outdoor amenities were perfect—boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, ping pong, darts and more. It was simple to check in and our three kids enjoyed every moment. We made many priceless memories as a family and we are thankful. It was wonderful to have not just coffee, but creamer as well for us. The place was so clean + we were comfortable in all the beds. Three bathrooms were a plus! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will dream about this home + Malibu for a very long time.

I love staying at this rental when I visit Malibu and will return. Perfect host experience as well.
