Vacation rentals with beach access in Caledonian Canal

Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

Sarah’s cozy, clean home was so comfortable and practical! The beds were so comfy! Our hostess was very responsive to any inquiries we gave her. Having the crib/ cot already set up for us was such a hospitable touch. We loved taking our morning coffee in the cozy window seat and soaking in the stunning views!

Finally an Airbnb that reflects a best in class B&B ! Lynne's place was organized, so clean and so comfortable -- and what made it even better was how thoughtful she was in making her guests feel welcome ! She had continental breakfast available incase one didn't come prepared, and proactively reached out incase we needed any local recommendations or any other help. She is RARE in the Airbnb world -- so if you are visiting Oban, stay at Lynne's !

The location of this rental is breathtaking, literally a few steps from the beach and it really is. Wide constantly changing skies, the sea, the mountains, the birds….all seen from the huge glazed doors. The place itself is tiny but you have everything you need and such a clever use of space and nice and warm. Bed, duvet and bed linen all super comfortable and luxurious. The welcome basket is extremely generous and hosts super friendly too. I loved the local toiletries so much I went and bought my own!

Sheila was awesome. Very responsive. Having a sea view from the condo was quite relaxing. The condo was spotlessly clean. Having two bathrooms was a plus. The kitchen was quite well appointed. We used the combo washer/dryer and it takes a while, but worked well. The dishwasher tabs and clothes washing soap were provided, which made it convenient. One note for mobility challenged people: the elevator is in the front of the building with no parking spaces, so you park on the side street about 300’ away and a small slope to go up & down. The shower also has a 6-8” step up. My husband helped me so I was able to navigate both without an issue.

Brilliant stay in a fabulous location, Having stayed in the area for over 10 years on fishing trips this is the best, absolutely spotless lovely and cosy with views to die for, be it wildlife or weather watching (seen otters on the last day) it’s hard to move from the sofa or even put the tv on looking out the big picture window also it has the comfiest bed ever. The location is also excellent being close to Oban for restaurants, shopping etc but also for a lovely drives north to Glencoe etc also 2 mins away from the fabulous beach at Ledaig with its amazing views. Lovely little touches too, flowers and welcome pack with shortbread, tea, coffee milk and sugar to get you started. Will definitely be returning If I can loved it x.

Lovely little house, Ideal local in the village and lots of lovely places locally to visit. The house is well equipped with all the essentials you need,beds lovely and comfortable,large garden area which suited us with the dogs Would go back tomorrow,the view every morning when you get up will not be forgotten

This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view and a very helpful host. What more can you want? The wow factor is the view! The large windows look over the sea giving a spectacular view particularly as the sun sets. The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard. We were an extended family of 12 and there was plenty of space (incuding the bothy) for all of us. The location is very handy for eateries and shops. The beach in front of the house is rocky but there is a lovely large sandy beach 5 minutes away. Thank you Zoe for being such a helpfully host.

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip to the Inverness area. The home is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and within easy access to services such as a supermarket, gas station, and shopping area. Andrea and Steven were perfect hosts, providing excellent information and quick responses before and during our stay. We highly recommend this excellent property while visiting the area.

Not just a place to stay, but a truly memorable experience. Staying at this beautiful home right over the water was a lovely experience. The owner’s thoughtful touches — fresh flowers, coffee, and cookies — made us feel welcome and comfortable. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the peaceful and scenic setting, even better than the photos suggested. Perhaps the best part was how personal and warm the entire stay felt, something every guest should have the chance to experience and will when the owner will add the coffee, flowers I appreciated the quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. During our stay, we found everything we needed close at hand.

We loved the quiet rural setting on the loch with colours changing in the light all day long. The villages and towns in the area had some good restaurants and we found many places for long walks. The facilities at the house were adequate for cooking and leisure. The only downside, which did not affect us really, were some peculiarities that we've never before encountered in the many airBNBs we have rented in the past: several rooms, closets and cupboards were locked and off-limits; and many rather unnecessary "polite advice" signs posted. In our previous experience, the number of guests has had no effect on access.

David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

A very stylish, comfortable, warm and cosy place to stay with views of Skye, weather permitting. Sorry it couldn’t be longer. Love the decor, very comfy lounge and bed.

Excellent location for access to Oban & the highlands.. Clean, tidy, comfortable apartment. Friendly helpful host who had excellent communication before and during my stay. Highly recommended.

Very nice and central accommodation, everything very clean and practical. Location absolutely great, right on the shore and 2 minutes from all pubs and restaurants. Only the 3 floors of steep stairs are very exhausting (especially with heavy luggage). Sea view, by the way, "only" from the side of 2 windows, the apartment with full sea view is No. 3

Kyle’s place is great. Location is perfect as there are great pubs and grocery stores close by. Easy access to the train and ferries. The unit is comfortable after a day being out exploring. Highly recommend.
