Family-friendly vacation rentals in Calambrone

We had a wonderful vacation with our children (7 & 9 years) in Poggio al Cassone. We were able to reach the cities of Pisa, Lucca, Volterra and Florence very well. For the children, the pool was the highlight after the excursions. The entire complex is beautifully designed, the apartment really large and we didn't miss anything. We can well imagine coming back. :)

Fantastic property, not new but really well kept and looked after. Spectacular outside space with grape vines over a pergola. Pool was a lot bigger than expected and a nice touch. Fabulous greeting and a welcome basket with local treats and Angiolo’s wine. Great location for touring Tuscany. We would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful week in Gloria's house. Our four-legged friend also felt totally comfortable in nature. The house is small but nice and has everything you need. The property is a nice size and is perfect for eating outside, relaxing in the hot tub or just lying in the sun. The way to the house is a little challenging, but with a normal car and a little driving experience it can be mastered. Gloria was always available to us and gave us good excursion tips for the area in advance. Even with any inquiries, she always responded very quickly and helped us. To just get out and enjoy the nature and tranquility of Tuscany, it is perfect. We will be happy to come back!

House owner was very very friendly. She helped us for all questions. View was perfect and peacefull. Everything was as described. The only thing we didnt like was charging for extra towels. We stayed there 5 days and when we asked for new towels after 3 days, they charged 10 euros 😔

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all the comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well-organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. A stay that we recommend without hesitation, perfect for those looking for peace, comfort and a nice place to share moments with friends.

Please do yourself a favour and book this place! Franco and his family are amazing hosts, the appartment looks even better in person and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had questioned ourselves whether it would be a downside to live together with more people on the property, but this turned out to be more of an advantage than anything. It felt like having very friendly neighbours, and we never felt like we had less personal space as a result. On top of this, the neighbouring towns are great for day trips and restaurants. So take the opportunity to enjoy this airbnb gem :) (someone mentioned the internet did not work, but this is fixed now)

A lovely apartment on the second floor in a fantastic location, just inside the city walls. Everything is within walking distance—the 99 churches, the city walls, a great yoga studio, and wonderful restaurants. We were welcomed in the most perfect way by Barbara, the mother of our host Patrizia. So warm and accommodating! Patrizia is a fast and responsive host, always helpful. The apartment features a cozy kitchen (with a fridge, washing machine, and all essentials) that opens up to a comfortable living area (with a TV and sofa), two spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and a bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. All the ingredients for an absolutely fantastic holiday in beautiful Lucca!

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

We loved staying at Elisa’s place - so lovingly restored and a truly special place. Beautiful setting and we loved hanging out in the garden on the sun loungers in the peaceful surroundings. Being able to say hello to their dogs and having their sweet cats in the garden made it feel like home to us. Easy parking nearby. Thank you so much!

Superlative Stay! Gianluca's attention to detail and mission-driven service as a host is on-point. A delightful pied-a-terre with fantastic views set hillside in Lerici, it's hard to imagine as you sit on the terrace watching the sunset while sipping on a local vintage why you haven't booked this place for even longer than the three weeks you already have. My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. We had a fantastic time at Nadia's place. The view is stunning and a very nice swimming pool that is well maintained by Giacomo. Very friendly welcome and received tips to do in the area. Good location near Lucca and in a nice green area. We would book this again.

The wonderful view can be enjoyed both as a couple and with friends. It is very quiet and everything has been thought of: outside there are very comfortable seating options, a grill and pool. The garden smells of jasmine everywhere. There's nothing missing inside either. The house is perfect and is in the perfect location. After 20 minutes by car you can reach San Gimignano. Simply a dream and always worth a trip 😍

Alessandro welcomed us with great patience and kindness. A very friendly host that we will be happy to meet again next year. My daughter thanks him for finding her blanket after we left, yet another proof of his kindness.

My stay at Fabio’s farmhouse was delightful. The house was gorgeous and felt right at home. The house felt cozy and comfortable with breathtaking views of the Tuscany country side. The area is very serene and peaceful. There are plenty of beautiful villages around the area to visit via car. Fabio was a delightful host who was very welcoming and responsive. I am looking forward to staying again here in the future.
