Accommodation "Palacio Conde Casa-Brunet" is a very exclusive accommodation located in an Elizabethan palace, the work of Diego Filguera in 1758 for the Count of Casa-Brunet, on whose ground floor the famous Café Apolo was located for a good part of the 19th century. It has been rehabilitated and modernized in 2021, with a renewed approach and adapted to the 21st century. It preserves the palatial charm with four-meter ceilings, wooden beams, and original arches in each room. On its façade remains the plaque that the Ateneo dedicated to it in 2008 and whose text recalls the social and political significance of the building in the 18th and 19th centuries: «In this Elizabethan palace house was the Café de Apolo, where the most select of Spanish and Latin American society, enlightened, liberal and constitutionalists staged gatherings and cenacles while the Constitution was drawn up, which was promulgated on March 19, 1812».
