Our little renovated Kate from 1876 is quiet and only 900m from the dyke. Large, sheltered garden on the edge of a field, with covered terrace and beach chair. Approx. 1,076 sq. ft. (100 m²) of living space with a large kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, living and dining area, and a small bedroom for one person on the ground floor. Large open bedroom on the second floor. Bedroom on the upper floor can only be reached by steep stairs. The sleeping accommodation for the 4th person is a niche (175x140). Private sauna for a fee.

Our eco-wooden house is located in the small town of Süderhastedt between the Kiel Canal and the North Sea. We ourselves live in Hamburg and have discovered this region away from the tourist hustle and bustle as an oasis of peace and a counterpoint to the big city. In the morning the rooster crows, in the evening the flames crackle in the fireplace and at night a heavenly peace under a clear starry sky. After the unfortunate fire of our cozy thatched cottage, we now have a light-flooded wooden house.

Feel at home in other rooms for a short time!

In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.

"Surfing Alpaka" apartment on the North Sea

Experience a nice time in the countryside. The farm is in an idyllic secluded location and is child-friendly. Enjoy the time to relax in nature, barbecue in the garden, walk, cycle, visit our petting zoo (alpacas = no petting animals) or go on excursions in the area. On the North Sea (6 km) you can swim, surf and mudflat hike. The garden invites you to linger with its various seating options. (The apartment is managed by my mother Richarda)

An exclusive and high-quality 90 sqm apartment awaits you on the upper floor of an old farmhouse in a quiet, secluded location, directly from the old dike. The property is located in the middle of the idyll, surrounded by countless fields and a breathtaking view into the distance. The sea or the nearest swimming area is 5-10 minutes away by car. Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.

Vacation in our "little house"

Our "little house" is decorated with a lot of love, just as we would also decorate a vacation home for ourselves. It is in the village, but quiet with views of horses & cows. You have your own garden that you can use for yourselves. The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.
