Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Burlington

This place is one of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in - and I’ve stayed in many! This was a perfect family stay, and we loved how cozy the unit was! Such a great location, as well, and the owner was so communicative and kind! Would definitely come back!

Homey open concept home where you van listen to the river while you take a dip in the cedar hot tub. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub, closeness to the Von Trappe Famiky Lodge, and the milk brother for my morning coffee.

This house was perfect as a landing spot for a graduation weekend. My wife and I stayed here with one daughter, while other members of our family who had not planned so far ahead stayed further away. Everyone used this house as a meeting spot before each day's activities. It has a very well-equipped kitchen, which allowed me to prepare robust breakfasts as if I was at home, and there was enough room in the open-floorplan living and dining area to allow a party of seven to enjoy eating and chatting together as we planned the rest of our day. It's an easy walk to some great trails along the river and plenty of good places to eat. The driveway had enough room for three vehicles to park when we were having our morning get-togethers. If there is a complaint, it's the aircraft that are taking off during the mornings at the nearby airport, but that's obviously no fault of the owners. This was a real AirBnB win for our family, and it made my daughter's graduation a great time for all!

Enjoyed the lake house, view was as promised, so pretty. I worked remotely using the internet, video calls went great.

We were in town for UVM graduation. Kelly’s place was the perfect spot for the family to hang out between events. The apartment is beautiful, furniture just perfect, super comfy beds. We made brunch one morning-kitchen had everything we needed. Can’t say enough about how great the apartment t was. Thanks Kelly and Louie!

This is my second stay at this cozy, comfy, charming, wonderful, apartment and I look forward to staying there again. Not to be missed!

This truly is our favorite Airbnb! This was our second time staying here, and it was just as magnificent as the first! The location is perfect - secluded, beautiful views and peaceful. Be sure to check out the local Birds of Vermont Museum and Audubon Society, as there are great trails over there with lots of wildlife. We have recommended this place to friends and family (pretty much anyone who is looking to visit VT) and will for sure be back!

Nancy’s apartment was exactly as described and had an amazing view! We loved the chocolate chip cookies and very comfortable bed. It was close to everything Burlington has to offer and we would highly recommend this place!

Spacious, sunny loft near the waterfront and Church Street. Street parking was easy. Very comfortable space for two.

Fiona’s place is very quiet and private in the middle of downtown. The bed was very comfortable and all the extra face washes were nice for relaxing at the end of day. I was in town for work, so I these things were really nice for me, plus the proximity to the lake trail and the Intervale trails for early morning runs.

Great little spot in an excellent location. right between Burlington and Stowe. Excellent value. Walking distance to coffee shop, pizza / beer garden, and a riverside trail. Only negatives were that the bed was pretty firm, and the bathroom Is very tight. Overall had a great stay.

My husband and I stayed at Mac’s place for two nights—and it was truly one of our favorite Airbnbs we’ve ever been to. It is spacious, well-kept, with lovely eclectic decor. It’s even better in person than the photos. We loved all of the framed music posters and the kitchen tiling. Not to mention the lovely jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, so relaxing! We slept well here and felt right at home—would book again next time we’re in Burlington. Definitely get some baked goods from Barrio Bakery down the street!

Our two night stay at Kent’s was absolutely wonderful! Kent was charming, friendly, and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. The apartment was cozy and welcoming, with great attention to meeting guests’ needs. We could not have asked for a better place to spend the weekend and have every intention of going back again!

We had a great stay at Lea’s place! The apartment was walkable to everything we wanted to do in Burlington, the place was spotless, and the beds were comfy. Would book again!

Great place to stay. Beautiful walking trails and very peaceful in the off season. Enjoyed the over the mountain ride into Stowe each morning.

Cute little place that was a perfect location for our visit to Stowe. Walkable restaurants and stores and even the places we had to drive weren’t far either. The place was very clean and perfect for our group. Would definitely come again!

We had a great 1-night stay! The place is very well stocked for short stays, even with an electric two burner cook top, microwave and fridge. Lots of linens and cutlery and cooking utensils and pots and pans. Super clean and more spacious than I was expecting. If you’re lucky you will meet the pups! I hope to come back!

We enjoyed staying here! The place was just what we were looking for. It was clean, organized and a very quick walk to the mountain. Great price too! James was very clear with directions/information and friendly.

The condo was excelent. Plenty of space, clean, and well organized. The condo has lots of dishes, pots, pans, cups which made it easy to cook. The grill was in good condition and located perfectly on the balcony. Josh was very responsive and flexible. He gave very clear instructions and the expectations for checkout were very reasonable and easy to complete. Great place to book if you are bringing children and pets! Plenty of yard space for them to play. The location is a close to drive stowe for skiing and to ben and jerrys factory for a fun family acitivty. I highly recommend this location!!

We had a great stay. The condo is spacious, and the toys were a big hit with the kids. The location is as advertised - right in the heart of Smuggler's Notch and a short walk to the village and Morse Mountain chairlifts. Getting to / from any part of the resort is a breeze with shuttle service available right outside the building. Having access to the unit's ski locker at the ground level is a big help, and there are plenty of coat hangers as well as ample space to store boots, helmets, etc. It's an ideal place and set-up for a Smuggler's notch ski trip.

My husband and I loved our stay at the slopeside condo. The chair lift is right next to the condo for easy ski access (AMAZING skiing btw). Inside, the condo is so clean and cozy. Emily (the co-host) was very nice and responsive with great local restaurant recommendations. We're already thinking of coming back next year!

Neil and Deb’s place is perfect for exploring nearby Burlington or just relaxing and enjoying the lake. The view and lake access are unbeatable! Would definitely stay again, and our doggos agree :)
